it's heartfelt and I enjoyed it, my only complaint is that the chorus may not really be a chorus. It sounds more like a c Section, but maybe thats just me.

Other than the BPM maybe, I don't hear any connection to Turn the Page or Wanted. Maybe overall emotionality. if connecting it to an antecedent I would lean more towards a ballad such as Edmund Fitzgerald in emotion and speed. With Mike's addition of the cello I hear more Game of Thrones than anything which you suggested, and not lot of that.

Have you noticed that you appeal most everything back to a Springsteen song?

That might be a badthing Martin, who knows? to sound in the ball park of a master?.... Theres no doubt those songs are in there. Does it matter? Not really, but im not making this up.

If the song sounds like something, it's not Springsteen's song that it resembles.
It's whatever Springsteen's song sounds like. Other than being a slow ballad I hear very little similairity.
I enjoyed the energy in some of his early stuff, but never really understood him as a phenomenon.

As Jim Carey would say ALLLLLrighty then.

Grain of Salt Martin, good to see you working hard on your music, thats what I take from the whole experience.
