Whoever is Hallmark's signed advertising company would be the one to contact about getting a job there. They and all such companies have staffs. I used to work for one in Philly out of high school while in my band. I saw how all kinds of ads were drawn up, discussed, worked on and presented. It's all in house. They did Mrs. Smith's pies for mags. The head writer for them lived on my town, and he knew me from me playing baseball all of my years from age 8. He would call me into his office if he saw me walking pass his door. I mentioned I would like to create ads. He laughed and said, well, you would need to not be a runner for the company, and actually get hired by J.M Korn as a writer, so you would BE a writer. They never take outside ideas, as it was pointed out to me. I would think that goes for other such ad companies who handle big name products. Maybe try local ad companies, to see if you can land a starter's job or be an intern, to work your way up. MANY of us creative types have MANY ideas for all knids of things. I know I have a bunch of ad ideas. Means nothing, for I am not hired by a firm.
