No offense to you Jody, but I take any PR release from NARAS with a grain of salt. It may be good news and it may be total spin, ost likely it is a mix like most things. The rights they worry about are the music ruling class. Unique differences specific to those lesser mortals among us are rarely heard let alone considered. But a 40% increase simply proves how terribly underpaid creators have always been because if they can abide a 40% increase and not immediately shut their doors, those previous rates were criminal and most like they are STILL too low.

I do find it interesting that the new administration has opened the roadblock.
