I was lucky to be in a band that happened to be a house band at a club where the owner would bring in past hit artists, such as Chuck Berry. We got to play on stage with him and many others during ONE summer. We didn't try to have that happen. Wasn't a goal. We were just in the right place at that right time. It was the only year Berry played there. '73.

So, despite our efforts, it seems we also need to have others do their thing which can somehow line up with our efforts of other goals. 1+1 = 10 in those cases. Ten times the goals we were actually going for at that time.

same could be said about Jagger and Richards going to same grammar school.nTownshend and Daltry ditto.

Then again lots of people meet in school, and the vast majority don't do anything. I met lots of band mates in school, nobody had extraordinary talent, lol. Crept for me of course.....lolllll
