We talk about it like making money is a bad thing. Some people build homes for a living, some write/sing/play songs for a living. I moved to Nashville to learn how to be a song writer for a living because I enjoy it, and god willing I could make a living doing it. If I did it for the art or to be pure, I would have stayed in Portland and played on the street corner. Just my 2 cents, it has always been about the money. Thats why it is called the Music Buisness!
