Just bought an iPad the other day for business, travel etc, but I also bought the $4.99 Garage Band app which seems to be a pretty powerful piece of technology.
Its on board instruments are actually playable by touch, (guitars, piano, bass, drums) and it is an 8 track recording device that can export\send its datafile out in formats that can be imported into other recording devices.
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
