thought to play with my own lyric, "Balconville" and tried to imagine a French Canadian singing it in broken English. still needs tweeking but here it goes....
C'est Balconville [01.05.2012]
(V) the money she's spent on the beer on the rent c'est la vie dans Balconville. winter sure was a ride, but she's nice eh? outside? c'est la vie dans Balconville. ma blond and me, after watch the TV can go dere and have us a smoke. watch the peoples below. eh! it's a free show. from up high dans Balconville.
(V) pas des vacances, mes boucoup des romances. c'est la vie dans Balconville. let us play dat word game, "Boggel's?" the name. c'est la vie dans Balconville. allez au marche, for some of the day. then come home, bring some poutine. cheese, gravy and fries she's good to my eyes. c'est la vie dans Balconville.
(C) the view she's the same dans the sunshine, the rain peoples might laugh my accent. not much going on, "eh! salute dere Jean." "mes no n'ai pas d'argent."
(B) dere's walks in the park and when it gets dark. will come back and have us the beer. maybe share one with Jean, while cutting the lawn. Balconville? she's always near.
(V) no runnin' around no unfamiliar sounds dans Balconville. no traffic jams. me? I'll knows wheres I am. dans Balconville. everyting is so close, that I love the most in the very near reach of ma main. so why goes anywhere, no need to go dere. all I need is Balconville.

Je vais faire "le bump" pour toi...
J'aime bien les mots.
Bonne chance avec la chanson.

salut Travis. comment ca va?
you might be correct and I had to use Google translate to write what I did since my French is limited.
I will translate here:
"Le Bump." the bump
"comment se fait il n'ya pas de commenntaires? eh?" no comments, eh?
"'est-ce pas une bonne??" is it not good?

Hey, I like that BUT I don't think I know enough to critique it I used to know a little French-Canadian lingo but all I remember is "Nom De Nom" --I think it was. I figured that meant Name of a Name ? Anyway. Enjoyed the read

bonjour wyman.
merci, thanks, for the visite, visit.
believe I am going to have to do a simple video/demo to get this one across since Travis is probably right and the French lines might be throwing so off.
I will have to see what I come up with.
thanks for stopping by.

Hi Doug I think when you do the video for this it will make a lot of difference, French speaking or not as humour is universal . Travis
