I've been to over 500 concerts in my life and had the privledge of seeing Sir Paul McCartney at Great American Ballpark{home of the Cincinnati Reds} Thursday night and it may well be the GREATEST show I've ever attended...Three hours plus non-stop, nearly 40 songs, Paul {unlike a few performances I've seen in recent years} was in GREAT voice, his band couldn't have been better if he'd have grabbed Ringo, and dug up John and George. The stage production was EPIC, the crowd ecstatic. It was 3 hours plus of musical bliss, with one "goosebump moment" after another. There's a reason this guy is a "living legend" I have a favor to ask because I'm still "computer stupid" I've posted a buch of video's from the show on my facebook, but don't know how to share them HERE. Any of you computer savy folks want to help me out by posting some links go to Youtube.com, and search Paul McCartney Live in Cincinnati.I recommend Hey Jude, Golden Slumbers, Live And Let Die, and Blackbird. I think theres one that has Live And Let Die and Hey Jude combined. Enjoy.

Bob:
Phenomenal somehow is an insufficient description of Paul. I'm certain that my great-grandchildren will be listening to his contributions to music and enjoying every minute of it. So glad you had the opportunity to attend... and enjoy it so much.

Thanks Samuel. I still don't know how to cut and paste! I wonder how many more "elderly" types in the audience crapped themselves or blew out their pace-makers on that first blast of pyro on Live And Let Die? Damn thing made KISS's pyro look like sparklers!

Right click the URL of the site or page that you want to share, (that's the long address at the very top of your browser in the rectangular box. It starts with http://). Left click "copy", it will highlight. Go to the site (JPF) to where you want to publish the link. After typing your comment, right click your mouse and left click "Paste". The link will appear in your post.

Hi Bob, Glad you enjoyed the show. I've also seen MANY concerts. We saw him in 1990 ( Miami )& walked away feeling as you have just described. VERY EXCITING TO SEE HIM LIVE, you could feel the electricity in the crowd, I dont think I've ever felt THAT in a concert crowd before. When he did Sgt Peppers the stadium MOVED ! Thanks for sharing your musical evening with us. Calvin http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewart

Thanks Ben, I'll try..My brain is wired differently than "normal" peoples. I can remember how to play 500 different songs off the top of my head, but can't drive a stick shift or ride a motorcycle.

Ha! Good one Nigel!
Way to go Bob!!!! I KNEW you would be floored by his show. THEE top pro in every aspect, especially taking "care" of the songs, "not" to have them be Vegas style renditions of the classics.
And, the songs are in the same keys. ??? How can a 69 year old do what was done at 18 to 33 or so? Him and Nolan Ryan should be in the Smithsonian Institute for their gifts of strength, never mind their talents!
His shows make it seem like a tour of our musical, visual, and emotional soundtrack to out life. I have been told similar by people who just went to go for the heck of it,,,not really being into Paul,,,but more into The Beatles albums before. They come away with a whole new respect and opinion of the man. Much more than silly love songs,,,,,for sure!

I heard Paul talking about two signs that a couple were holding up. The Guys said ' Sign My Wifes Back' Hers said, 'I am the wife, please sign my back'. He called them on stage and signed her back 'Let It Be' and his signature. She went straight away and had it tattooed. http://www.metro.co.uk/showbiz/8717...ir-paul-mccartneys-autograph-on-her-back What a prize for a Fan..lol God Bless Roy and Helen

Yes, he insists on doing all the songs in their original keys, and you can tell a number them push him to the limit, notably Maybe I'm Amazed, Band On The Run, I've Got A Feeling, and Helter Skelter, but he still pulls them off. And yes that was a classic moment before Helter Skelter when he pulled the couple from the crowd and signed the guys wife!

Nope, I can play harmonica and guitar at the same time, but can't coordinate a motorcycle.
