Ok Folks. To embed your youtube video, some simple rules have to be followed.
Its best to prepare your data before hand then copy and paste it. Less confusing.
Below is an example:
This video is one I made for Helens song, ‘I Wanna be the Woman’.
You may enjoy it.
God Bless Roy and Helen
When you start your NEW TOPIC, make sure that you select
Using HTML and UBB CODE. The box that you will insert your information in, will now understand normal text that you can use the post functions on.
Bold ,
italics ,
color text etc.
and the HTML code used to embed your video. Below is the url for my video above that I have embeded.
The red number is what you will change in the code shown in the first comment box below.
The number of the video is
1sxDj4ijXDs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sxDj4ijXDs I have had to paste the embedding code in the first comment box below as text. Otherwise this box which I set to HTML and UBB CODE would just hide the code and show the video embedded twice. Change the number (in two places) to the number of your video.
(shown as red) Write your text that you want others to read above and below the code (as you wish)as I did here.
Then copy and paste the whole lot into your topic box.
Works for me.
if you find this useful. please leave a comment
God Bless Roy and Helen

Then select using HTML and UBBCODE
I'm not finding the option to select using HTML and UBBCODE.
It says "HTML is disabled. UBBCODE is enabled."

If you start a new topic Kurt or at the top of the original topic, select NEW REPLY
then just below the box that appears to make your comment, is a drop down menu with the options.
Its titled 'Markup'
Does that work for you

Does this help Kurt.
Select
'NEW REPLY' or
'NEW TOPIC' then
Select
'HTML and UBBcode' If it doesn't I don't know what the problem is.
You could send me the code in a PM and let me check it for you.
God Bless Roy and Helen

On Harmony Central a youtube video is as easy as this:

Copy everything after the equal (=) sign and incase it with
Doesn't work on JPF though. Maybe the new board version will allow this? Interesting...

Thanks for trying to help, Roy.
The "Markup" box doesn't give me the HTML option.
It gives me two options..."using UBBCode" and "without UBBCode/HTML". I don't know why.

The only way I can think to help Kurt.
Is for you to PM me the code with your video number in.
Then you start a new topic, with your intro writing etc, stating that the video is below.
Then I quickly as the first comment, add the video code for you.
Not perfect I know, but it should work.
Let me know if you want to do it.
God Bless Roy and Helen

Thanks, Roy. It's not so much that I want to embed a video, as it is that I want to know how to embed a video.

Maybe someone else know the answer Kurt. You could ask Brian or post a general question. God Bless Roy and Helen
