And when a cop giving evidence says, The prisoner had nothing to say'. That surly must be wrong.
And the song words 'I Who have Nothing' whats that about.
Sorry John. This just goes on and on.

Infinity...eternity...I can wrap my mind around the idea of having no end, but the idea of something existing that never "began" is the most baffling concept of all.
Well, that and Michelle Bachmann.

It literally hurts my head to attempt to imagine nothingness before something. I have to conclude that there was no first cause (something from nothing) - otherwise my head would explode!
I use to think that all the idiots who never reflected on such things as nothingness and Being were not very intelligent. Now I think the people who find meaning in baseball, fashion, pursuit of money and other pastimes are are the smart ones because they are smart enough to spare themselves the angst of asking the question.
This topic reminds me of a more tangible reflection. Whether Earth harbors the only life in the universe or if the universe is teeming with life seems equally miraculous. We are destined to be stunned no matter what the answer.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein

here's my thoughts on it... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewartNothing © words and music by C. Stewart ( Mar. 4, 2011 ) Before my life began I was nothing A clock that don't exist, cannot tick When I began to breathe I was something I said goo goo mama, watch me kick CHORUS..... I kicked and screamed and wet my diaper every chance I got I was very loud, and my face was full of snot I wasn't fun to be around, and nothing has changed I went to school each day And did nothing I couldn't stand that scene any more A teacher old and grey Was yelling something So I threw the old bastard on the floor CHORUS..... I kicked and screamed, bitched and moaned every chance I got I was loud, and I had a temper that was hot I wasn't fun to be around, but now something's changed I met a flower that's always in bloom She's lavender all year long She wants to dance through life with me "Love" is our favorite song I met a flower that's always in bloom She's lavender all year long I want to dance through life with her "Love" is our favorite song
