John,
I appreciate your comments. It is always interesting to hear the different viewpoints. Obviously the vague lyrics have been an issue for more than one person. It seems to boil down to personal preference. On one side, I like to be completely pulled into a song and relate 100 percent, and then sometimes I think it is nice to have to think hard about what the writer is trying to convey - and with some artists, I don't know that I am ever quite sure. Some of my lyricss are pretty clear and others I suppose are a bit of a mystery! Thanks for taking the time to listen.
