http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=758085&songID=9311691Mixed by Jay Walsh - Farview Recording. This is a parody of 'Stacy's Mom', as made famous by Fountains of Wayne. Comments concerning content are especially appreciated. Hope you like. Thanks!

Dude, You are channeling the Cars! This is really a good song and recorded very, very well. Fun topic, did you feel like it was too racey that is why you did not post the lyrics? I love the sound of this. Good work. Tom

Nice production -- guess if you are gonna write and play something like this - why be shy about exposing yourself? ; ) jm

Casey used to play baseball after school (after school) Spent his weekends down by the pool (down by the pool) But suntan lotion can really slide and slip (slide and slip) he put some on, and then his doodle started to drip (started to drip)
And now he's not the little boy that he used to be, and half the time it looks like he is turning Japanese
Casey's palm has got it goin' on and he can't stop - he's been going for too long Casey can't you see moderation is the key He knows it might be wrong, but there's magic inside Casey's palm
Casey's palm has got it goin' on Casey's palm has got it goin' on
Casey please drop your member, and try to move on (try to move on) Your nuts are out, and the swelling is gone (swelling is gone) Casey put it away and you best beware (best beware) That if you don't, your palm is gonna grow some hair (grow some hair)
And I know that you writhe around in ecstacy, but if you keep this up it's gonna hurt to much to pee
Casey's palm has got it goin' on and he can't stop - he's been going for too long Casey can't you see, moderation is the key He knows it might be wrong, but there's magic inside Casey's palm

Yo James,
An anthem to all male "members" of the planet fer sure. The lyrics are fricken hysterical and combined with the lively, but deadpan delivery...so right on.
I'd like to hear the last "palm" kinda reverb off into a fade out instead of the dead stop though.
I didn't know what to expect 'cause the post title is "Stacy's Mom".....were ya tryin' to throw us off the track?
super job!
yerz, Ellen

I'll have to play with that, thanks! I didn't know what to expect 'cause the post title is "Stacy's Mom".....were ya tryin' to throw us off the track?
This was actually a parody of 'Stacy's Mom', as originally made famous by Fountains of Wayne. I suspect that I should have made that part more obvious in the opening post. Thanks for the crit and the compliments!

Yes you should and I suggest you edit it now. Claiming to have written something that you haven’t is frowned upon in these circles. I would suggest changing the title of your post too. Ironically the bit that is yours (at least I assume it’s yours) you didn’t bother to post. If you want to be taken seriously, be open and honest with folk. And they can critique accordingly.

Edits made. Forgive me, all that I do are parodies, and I forget that sometimes the audience doesn't recognize the original work. Cheers,

Hi James
Thanks for making the change. That's much better. I know Stacy's Mom (the song lol) that's what pulled me in but clearly there are a lot of folk who are not familiar with it, as proven by the crits.
Good luck with the parodies - from what I heard it sounds good
