Earnest T Bass went into town breakin glass all around
the law come to lock 'im up in jail, out he escaped fresh and well
Wanted some learnin so he went to school, problem was he couldn't obey rules
Miss Crump grad-ji-ate him very same day, give him diploma to make him go away
Sheriff give him job said he'll work real hard, too bad for kids he's a crossin guard
He said he needs money to buy gold tooth, gonna knock one out so he'll have room
He tell all the girls... he's so nice, don't never chew his cabbage twice
Now he's tryin to court Charlene,but she refuses says he's mean

Nubbin- I think this is quite inventive and brings visions in my head of the show. It is a fun one for sure. I did have a bit of trouble following the one on Ernest because of the format it is written in. But fun stuff for sure and well done. Kim

Thx Kim the one on Earnest T Bass is written on the same type format as that song of "Old Moriah" that he was beating and singing to with the gas can where he was serenading Charlene Darlin

thx John my 2 favorites were Brisco Darlin and Barney

not really Doug I used to watch Flash Gordon too but it was made before I was born guess I'd fit in better in the 1870's cause the old west is what I really love even the hard times would have been good times for me, wonder why they never showed Juanita?

Yeah Brisco Darlin was a piece of work.

The show went down hill after Barney left.

I have a friend who's brother lived next to Denver Pyle for many many years, I can even imitate Brisco to a tee, and my other imitation is that of Jackie Gleason as sheriff Bufford T. Justice
