Hi Paul,
Three at a time now? When do you sleep? Well, I'm doing these one at a time, and of course, I started with the middle one. The title is great and the lyrics way too clever, at least the ones I can remember. You really need to print them out for us feeble minded folks who can't remember anything. I did catch the one line, "tongue swollen twice its size in typical geek fashion". A lot of funny stuff, and the last line tied it all up very nicely. The guy gets the girl ending was cool. Music suited the words too. It reminded me of the Cars for some odd reason. I'll check out the other ones later.

Hi, Paul! Whiskey,Wine and Fine Young Women
Hi, Paul. This kind of reminds of the "Night They Drove Ol Dixie Down." I think the lyrics sound good but a darker and more dramatic melody may be in order. It's a little bouncy for describing a lawbreaker. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

Hi Paul,
I listened to Nashville Cash Cow. Funny tune, clever too. How do you think it'll play down there?

Three in one day - lol, I don't wanna hear it. Listened to "She puts her panties on one leg at a time" - had to do that one since I was familiar with the lyric... Music works with it, in my opinion. Gives it that tongue in cheek feel. I'd say it's pretty much ready to work up. Tag seems a little tentative - might want to pin that down first. Gonna be a good one, Paul! Will try to come back later for the others... Scott

Paul,
Whiskey, Wine and Fine Young Women reminded me of Springsteen's Nebraska for some reason. What made me think of it (I believe) is because of your raw and unapologetic narrator. Also, the music to Nebraska is pretty upbeat, while Springsteen sings about a multi-state killing spree. Did your guy jump in the river in the end? I had kid issues and could not hear the end..
Enjoyed this. I will try to get back to the others in the next day or so.

Jean: Hey thanks for stopping by. You think the melody is too bouncy. Yes it does have a beat. Guess I didn't want it to get too bleak and gloomy. I kinda liked the interplay between music and lyrics in this one. It tells a sad tale but keeps meople moving and listening to it.

I listened to all three -- you get a lot out of the one guitar/vocals thing. I would like to see slightly fuller arrangements (just bass and light percussion would be fine). Cool stuff.

I don't think it will become the song of the month down there that's for sure. Thanks for listening and I am glad you enjoyed the sound. Paul Hi Paul,

Wendy: Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I am getting behind in my recording goals and that's one reason whay I havent taken your vocal track and mixed it with the tracks on Skinless Boneless Homeless song. I have good intentions.
Please stand by and I will come back with it soon.
Paul

First song - I like the lyrics. You paint a good story here Paul with good imagery.
Second song - powerful intro - very effective.
Third song - My favorite. Fun song. I like the tone of the song - good lyrics. I like the beat in combination with theme of the song. Your phrasing is good.

Kevin: Thanks for listening and letting me know how you feel. I think it would not be too hard to take a little time and add some mote instruments to what I got here. Its a good comment and I have no reason not to other that maybe time constraints.
I am thinking of doing it some time soon. Hope you stay tuned.
Thanks...Paul

Tom Tom: Again and again thank you. Third song is a not so subtle dig at Nashville. I wanted to make it a little more biting but I ended up with this one. I kinda like it also. Paul
