Well not really a Hog Roast, my wife won't let me roast a hog.
But We need to know who's gonna be there.
Folks I am putting together the party plan and we need to get an idea how many folks are coming to Nashville in August. Mike will need to know about any demos you want to do.
I need to know how much FOOD I will need.
So please post here if you are gonna be there.
The plan
Mike will do the Demo Derby August 7, 8, 9.
You need to finalize with Mike for that.
We will have get togethers all three days, probably at my house but we are trying to set up a venue to have Open mic night.
This will be pretty informal, no Speakers or scheduled events are planned yet.
The main Picnic/Party will be at my house on Saturday August 9th.
Donations will be accepted to pay for all the stuff.

Hi Bill,
I really wish I could be there, but sadly life is getting in the way. I told my boss I was leaving for good in Aug. to go back to TN and they offered me a bonus to stay I couldn't turn down. I'll be up here for at least another 6 months to a year. I'd much rather be down there pushing my music, but cash in the hand right now is much safer now than a possible cut in the future. My retirement date is getting closer and closer.

Folks..It would really help to know who is planning to make this trip. I know Mike Dunbar needs to Know about the Derby.
I have run into a little setback at my place in Joelton.
Termites...Millions and millions of them little Global Warming farting buggers.
They ate my house...HA! Well not all of it...Just the rec room....that's the room where I hoped to have the Sound set up and all guitar playing and singing going on....Well it is gutted down to the studs and ceiling joists and it is unlikely it will be renovated before August.
BUT...I still have a Living Room and Kitchen. and One Acre of yard. So I really need to know how many folks I can expect to be there.
If you think you will be there PLEASE post here and let me know.

Gonna be mighty hot in August, hope you have good air conditioning. haha
p.s. I've had my own nightmare with termites in a previous rental house... I mean they were "swarming".. .literally like a horror movie... falling out of the walls....... the floor was black with them in the kitchen.
Only thing that killed them was dry clorox cleanser/Ajax and/or Borax.
Dries those little suckers right up.

Borax (Hydrated Sodium Borate) is a great way to get rid of fleas. I just rub some into my hair every morning.

I don't think I have met you. Pleased to meet you.
Swarming Termites. I had a swarm of them on a Big Maple tree in my front yard in Michigan.
I thought they were flying ants. The were coming up out of the ground around the tree roots. There were millions of them. I did not learn until a few months later when I had the tree removed that they were actually termites. Black and brown winged bugs that look similar to ants.They had eaten the tree from the inside out.
I don't think they are not the ones that do the damage though. It's the little white workers that will eat your house.
Actually, I was quite impressed by what they were able to do. 2 inch by 8 inch floor joists completely gone. Whole wall studs, Completely eaten away. Nothing but powder left. All by a little white bug about 3/16's of an inch long.

yeah Bill, by the time they "swarm".. the damage has already been done. but while they were swarming, I just sprinkled Ajax everywhere they were and swept them up. It was discusting... ick.. Works on ants too.. when you see a line of them somewhere outside, I just sprinkle on the Ajax and they are gone gone gone. I haven't met you either, but I've been around for awhile... I'm going to try to make it down that weekend, unfortunately Tracy'll have to run channel 17 all weekend, so he probably won't be making an appearance.
It all depends on what the doc says. the complications from my surgery have turned my whole life into turmoil right now.

Well , ya see, it's like this----With my advanced age and decrepit condition, either one of the aforementioned members of the feminine gender would probably be more than enough. Both , I believe having a reputation of being feisty-like. I may be a fool but I'm not foolhardy <G>
Besides , I still remember a plot from a couple years ago involving a couple a' hit men and a quarry with a 200 foot drop off. (It gets deeper everytime I tell it <G> )
