I put in a special request for 75 & sunny but the weather gods can be deaf at times.
Maybe if if I did more requesting than cursing?
The big event is one week from today.
Looking forward to hearing and seeing everyone.

If the weather man is even close to right Sunday is supposed to be a pretty nice day.
Sunny with temps in the middle 70's.
It will be warm with all of the Jpfer's family anyway but the nice weather is an added plus!

absolutely, I agree. Everyone sounded great (with the possible exception of me - just one of those days!) and it was great to see eveyone again. Great job Jerry and Dan, everyone, and great venue.

Very cool day at the 'Stop once again. Perfect setting today with the weather as well. Great music, outdoors, on a great day is a very good thing.
Thanks again to Jerry for getting us all together. Thanks to Dan for keeping us 'level.' And thanks to the folks at the Whistle Stop for being 'our' place on a Sunday once a month.
It's great to hear everybody and get their take on things through song.

Sorry I had to split so early. What I did get to hear was really good stuff. We have some great talent here in the JPF Tampa Chapter and Bay Area. I'm proud to say that I am a JPF member and that I get the chance to be around such inspiring folks.

Check within the local Nashville area chapter. Tampa's got a pretty active JPF bunch thanks to coordinators Al Alvarez and Jerry Jakala and of course its active members. We enjoy each other's company and each other's songs.

Thanks to all of the JPF performers for making my job as emcee so easy.
It's really a pleasure to deal with so many fine people that know what they are doing.
A special thanks to Mike Dowell for doing percussion for some of the performers.
Mike & Tom are the dynamic duo for sure!
I am also very impressed with how much many performers have grown in their performances.
Just Plain Folks just plain feels good!

I also want to thank Dawn & Pat(whistle stop owners)for letting us use their venue for the Tampa Bay Chapter Of Just Plain Folks showcases.
It was great to get a chance to meet Big Jack,the host of the Wednesday open mic night at the whistle stop.
