Hi,

I have some male songs that I would really like to hear done by a male, and get a male demo of. I would like to tell you that I do not have a lot of money to have them done professionally, so I thought I would post one and see if any of you male singers would be interested in donating your vocals, knowing that you probably won't get much but my thanks for it...

I use audacity at home, and if I could get a vocal I could add other instruments and harmonies. I plan on fading it out, so I know it is a little long right now.

If you are interested in listening, I have posted my song "Drivin Her to Tennessee" with me singing it, and also a track with just guitar and drums for anyone who wants to give it a try..

Ok I can't guarantee miracles but I'm willing to help where I can. If you can post a melody line it would be helpful; however I think even without that I might be able to make it work. Let me know if this sounds good.

Thank you for the time...maybe we can post the results here if you find the song will work for you, and get some feedback. I wrote it as a country ballad, along the lines of Tracy Lawrence, Alan Jackson type music..

No rush, lol some of my male songs are 35 years old....I guess I have patience lol..

Your link is in hi quality and I'm on dialup making it hard to listen to. You would probably not want my voice on your song anyway.

Have you considered some of the demo services in Nashville, etc.

These are some that are reasonable and have been recommended. Google them as they have Web Sites.

I don't know what type of voice you are looking for, but I'd like to try.

The links didn't go to the song but I got there doing a search but it won't down load and it won't play (problem on my end as I live in a motorhome and depend on wifi.

Now Everett, I went to your site and listened to some of your songs. Is that you singing them? Cause I loved that voice of whoever was singing them, lol. I only saw Gospel (which I love by the way) but do you sing just country too?

Thank you for taking time to respond. I have thought of studio demos for years, but I just never seem to find the extra money. I will go and look at the sites though. Maybe I will come into some extra money and be able to pay someone for demos.

You must have clicked the gospel site, I have country on the other sites. Unfortunately no,that is not me singing. 99% of my demos are hired singers, I sing and play just enough to get across how I want the demo to sound, so the real singers and musicians can go to work. I like your song, nice little twist in it to surprise the listener.

Thanks for the compliment too. This song is one of my very old ones, that I had forgotten about. I was going through one of my old writing binders and read it, and that is when I started thinking, "I have hear what these male songs would sound like". It could well have been one of the forgotten songs forever of mine.

Thanks for the site, I will go and listen. I did check out the other ones you gave me. I emailed one and asked if they offered a lead vocal only, and they replied they did not. I tell you what, if I had the time to invest and a little money that is what I would do. An online musicians warehouse. If you need a lead vocal and you have the music, send it and we will do it. If you need a lead guitar, send it we will do it. Harmony to a lead vocal? Send it, we will do it. It would be reasonable too lol.

Ah, the dreams of entrepreneurs and songwriters......

i think you are very talented and your songs deserve the best......i would highly reccomend TIM BUPPERT......that guy is good enough to be top tier.....he did 2 male lead demos for me....i understand you aint rich but take one or two or your best male lead things and hook up with him..he has his own demo equipment and i am sure you would love his work.....he charges $100 A SONG......his email is TBUPPERT@AOL.COM........thats my best advice....we have many fine singers available here in JPF...best of luck....
