What a cool thread...I'm going to have to wade through this one and check out some cool music. From the looks of it, I might have months of entertainment. My myspace page is under development. I had my layout made by a friend. I will post my URL here right away. Anyway, I got this news on how popular myspace is right now. This is probably true. MySpace got even more popular in November, beating Yahoo in web traffic for the first time reports - The Sydney Morning Herald. More to that According to Comscore Media Metrix, Myspace recorded around 38.7 billion US page views last month, compared with Yahoo's measly 38.1 billion. Alexa ranks Myspace as the 5th most popular site on the internet with an average daily reach of about 40,000 (per million). Found this article here.

I saw Sandi Thom, once of McDuff, Scotland, on the Arts & Entertainment Sunday morning show, Breakfast With The Arts. Check out her site, especially the media player down the page. She's getting 70,000 viewers to her cyber-concerts from her living room. One of the songs posted that has had 273,000 plays. Her media player has about ten songs, with videos, and video interviews, all on her myspace site. www.myspace.com/sandithom and www.sandithom.com How is she driving that traffic to her site? She has a CD and is touring.
