“ EYES OF CAROLINE " (c) 2002 Ronald Boyte Code 0602
intro Lost in her eyes I drift away ---
v 1 Sixteen Junior High And girls It's a lot to comprehend But Then again A boy has the right To ponder how the world keeps sight
build Of how I spend my nights
chorus Nights I dream of lovely things Walking corridors of my mind Trapped in recesses play time Beautiful Beautiful nights Nights with Caroline
v 2 My Queen sails on feet of Gods Wisping hair’s thin threads of gold Her soul’s grown bold And sings me to sleep With promise vowing love to keep
build (mod) Oh how we spend the night
chorus Nights I dream of lovely things Walking corridors of my mind Trapped in recesses play time Beautiful Beautiful nights Nights with Caroline
bridge 1 In class I sit behind her Seldom seeing her face Day dreaming she's in my arms Miss Lander's voice pulls laughter's alarm
bridge 2 Too shy I can only dream One night our telephone rings Malcolm The phone's for you Caroline Caroline who?
chorus (mod last line) Nights I dream of lovely things Walking corridors of my mind Trapped in recesses play time Beautiful Beautiful eyes Eyes of Caroline ---
Fade out Beautiful Beautiful eyes Eyes of Caroline ---
* End

Ron, quite the different format here with repeating the same word twice in the choral areas.....It was hard for me to wrap my tongue around "beautiful beautiful nights nights...." but then I'm not so talented eithter....best wishes ------------------ http://www.songramp.com/homepage.ez?Who=sharonirenewells

Hi Sonny! Good to hear from you! I'd looked for a recent post of yours too. But, no? Thanks for the idea. Actually there's a pause that seems to work concerning the line both you and Sharon had noticed. It works; at least in my mind, ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Take care Okie Dude! Ron

Ron,
Nice song. DIdn't have a problem with the line in question. I read it like this:
Beautiful, beautiful nights.....(Pause here) Nights with Caroline.
Am I close?

Hello Ron,... some well writen lines..!!!! wondrin about a few things.... My son is 14...and is older for...the 8th grade...because he has an early autumn birthday...and I had the option to send him or not....and chose not..... am i understanding..the 16 and Junior High?.. around here..many graduate from high school at 17...and 18... and if you DO drop the age back some Ron.... I'm wondrin...although i'm not naive and..realize this happens.... i'm wondrin.. about the 14 or 15 year old...singin..about his nighttime. recess and play....?... just some thoughts... probably the odd "gal"..out on this one, kaley ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif)

Hi Kaley! Actually you've made a very good call! It had not dawned on me concerning the age I'd chosen and Junior High. 16 is a little off base. I'll adjust! Hope all has been going well. I'd noticed towards the end of last year that you were not as active as before? Good to see that changing. Take care! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Ron
