Does anyone in Philadelphia know about this board? I have been monitoring it for several weeks now. I think its a no-show.

Hey Mick:
Got your email. I will follow up regarding the House Jam.
I am amazed more people in this area are not aware of this site. We even have are own Chapter!
Mick, if you get a chance check out my recent song post in the Lyric feedback forum. Its titled "Just A Dream". Sometimes, if you are not in the small circle of writers that dominate that board they blow you off.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Folks,
We've been working on relaunching a Philly Chapter. We have Mick who has offered to help out as well as Bonnie Warren. Jill Sansores was the Philly contact, but isn't currently available to help out. About 10% of the group is registered on the message boards, but we hope that will increase during our upcoming Membership Drive.
Stay tuned,
Brian

Absolutely. Thanks, Mike. I also read your reply to yesterday's post on the Philly board. Sounds like you have definite ideas, and have started promoting your jam night already. I'll do what I can to spread the word. Have you thought about being a chapter coordinator?

Hey Mick:
I would consider being a Chapter coordinator. How much does it pay? LOL.
Seriously, what does a Chapter coordinator do?
I have had some other ideas to get the word out. Contact the Philadelphia Folk Song Society and get them to have a link to JPF. Also, we need to develop a flyer, that everyone agrees on (just to be consistent), and post it at local music stores, coffee houses, and book stores. Maybe Brian already has something like this. Also, pick Brians brain, he got this site started. Find out how he did it. Another possibility would be to contact XPN, they might help.
Talk to you later. Mike D.

Hey guys,
I'm right over the bridge so you can consider me in the Philadelphia area - glad to see you're getting this board started - wouldn't have even come here if it wasn't for Mike's post. Let's get the word out - if you need any help, let me know. I'm a little time constricted, but will try to help in any way I can.
See ya, Debbie

To Mike D and anyone else interested: Brian is currently looking for a Philadelphia chapter coordinator. I might not be the best-qualified applicant, but I sent Brian my information anyway because JPFolks has a lot of untapped potential on a local level, and we need a contact person. According to Brian, all you need is good communication and follow-through to be a coordinator. If you're interested, check out http://www.jpfolks.com/Chapters/index.html That screen will give you the information to apply. Hi Debbie!

I guess you are passing the ball. I'll check out the site and write a note to Brian.
Hi Debbie, Nice to hear from you. Any help like having a friend join or something in would be great.
Talk back soon Mike D.
