Hello Tunies of Canada:
I'm doing my annual work trip to the Atlantic region, and I am looking to get together with some likeminded people along the way. If there are any members in the Maritimes, that would like to get together and compare notes, musical or otherwise, I'd love to hear from you. My itinerary isn't firmed up yet, but I will be visiting every province except Newfoundlandon this trip. I look forward to having some fun while I am there.

Anyone who wants to join me along the way is welcome.

I'm not a player these days but I do collab with my lyrics.
I listened to "Bookmark" Great melody and your vocals are good and pure....Nice work bro.......Keep the faith!

Dear Eric:
I don't actually perform live. I'm strictly a basement guy. I did playu bass in a number of bands over the years, but my current life makes that difficult. My day job requires that I spend half of my time away, so when I'm home, I'm not interested in leaving my wife at home to go out jamming or gigging.

I'm already back in Ontario, so I won't be able to make your gig. I only go out once a year, and it's the last 2 weeks of July, give or take a few days. I hope it goes/went well.

Thanks for your encouragement regarding Bookmark. It got 36 plays the day you listened to it. Was it all you?

I am actively promoting my songs for other artists to cut if they are recording. If you are planning on doing a CD, let me know what you need.If I have anything suitable, I can forward it to you. This goes for all the JPFers who may be reading this.

When I get a chance, I'll look up your stuff on Soundclick and give it a listen. Thanks again.

Hey Terry,how come you skipped Newfoundland? We are use to it,often you will see ads saying "from Vancouver to Halifax",these are suppose to be nation wide ads,like Canada ends in Nova Scotia.I guess that's the price we pay for being an island.Ha ha.

There is only one reason. My Newfoundland customers come to Halifax for the trade show, as a general rule, thereby saving all of us reps the cost of going over there. The flip side of that is that every 5 years or so, we have our trade show in St. Johns.

The next time it will be there is the summer of 2007, and it will be my first trip to the rock. I am really looking forward to it. I'll be giving the same sort of advance notice on the boards, so maybe we can meet up on that trip.

You'll love The Rock. Back in the eightees I spent some time there when my ten employer Clarkson Gordon had a contract to financially re organize the fisheries industry. FPI was in receivership and the industry as a whole was hurting.

In any event, despite the bad times, the people were absolutely wonderful, and St John's is such a neat city... compact, colourful.. Flying over it is so neat as well. There's an area of almost perfectly spaced rounded lakes that makes it look like you're flying over a golf ball.


The coast is amazing too. Absolutely beautiful.


Anyway, I'm drabbling on. Go there, you'll see. And do try the cod cheeks.

I love the Humber River Valley in the Cornerbrook area.....Beeeeeoooootiful!
