Hi Brian,
I've been waiting to get those email addresses from interested people that you got from the surveys.
Since emails seems to work getting people in touch, but getting together doesn't seem to as well...before we meet again, I'm going to do an email poll of what night people are generally good to meet, what area of the chapter they'd like to help get going, what ideas they'd like to see implemented....that kind of thing.
Then we can schedule a get together. I'm also going to arrange a panelist for the next meeting. I need the date first before I book the person. It may be Steve Zuckerman, the producer of expos here in NYC, including The Music and Internet Expo in 2001 and The Film and Music Expo in 2002.
If you have any ideas....just let me know. In general most people leave NYC for the summer, so I have a feeling that things might really start hopping in the fall.

NYC is still rockin... Not as much as New Jersey is right now.. Bruce's new record gettin lots of hype, lots of great bands here in Jersey gettin ready to make a splash in the industry.,., My new record was just released in NJ on the Pine Hill Records label... We just shot my 1st video last week in Hoboken, NJ for the first single called "Take A Minute"... Hey! I'm Chellie Coleman. I've been with JPF for a while, but I'm new to the forums (don't ask). Anyway, I'm a singer/songwriter/producer in New York and would love to keep in contact with anyone in the NY/NJ chapter. I mostly do R&B and pop, sometimes a splash of hip hop, and a taste of club music. Once in a while (depending on my mood) I'll do soft rock and gospel. I also like to get on projects: singing/writing hooks for rappers and singers, arranging vocals and vocal harmonies for songs, writer collaborations, opening for other acts, helping artists arrange material for demos and albums, and (sometimes) website design for artists. I just love doing things that keep me in music! Let's keep in touch! Get in touch with me if you have a project going on.
