I Have a list of folks I know all written in a book

And every year at Christmas time, I go and take a look

That is when I realize that these names are a part

Not of the book they are in, but in my very heart

For each name stands for someone who has crossed my path sometime

And in that meeting they’ve become the ‘rhythm of the rhyme’

While it sounds fantastic for me to make this claim

I really feel I am composed of each remembered name.

And while you may not be aware of any special link

Just meeting you has shaped my life, more than you can think.

For once you’ve met somebody, the years cannot erase

The memory of a pleasant word…. or a friendly face.

So whether I’ve known you many years or few,

In some way you’ve had a part in shaping things I do

And you all happen to be one of those I prefer not to forget!!

In answer to the last question, yes. It's calleed "I'm Giving Mom A Dead Dog for Christmas." As far as how do you hear it without coming out to Garibaldi, Oregon, to hear it in person (it does get requested a lot this time of year), I am having some CDs made to give away as Christmas presents (and the song of course is on the CD because 'tis the season), and I could send the song--maybe, as soon as I figure out how to do that sort of thing. Alternatively, 'course, I could mail y'all a CD and y'all could share.

Thanks for posting that message. I wish people held those types of sentiments all year round!

My favorite Christmas: 2000... I had a rough year the previous year and a very dear friend stayed with me through Christmas and through our talks and sharing I came to realize a lot of things on the personal tip that changed my life. Best Christmas for me so far.

Favorite Christmas song is a toss up between 'O Holy Night' and 'What Child is This'

Hello Natalie,

I agree with you...I'm sure those sentiments are thought of all year long by most of us. However, I don't think many of us take the time out of our busy schedules to let people know how we feel or to give others support when they need it. We are all so busy…...The Holidays are a good time to STOP and take time for others. Probably the best gift we could give any of our friends & family and JPF members would be our TIME & SUPPORT & and then top that off with a little CARING. Wrap that all up and you have got the best gift ever.

I checked out your clips and you have a wonderful voice. Have a Merry Christmas and lets hope that this Christmas 2003 will be one of your favorites.
