I assume some of you can relate to the financial struggle I dealt with for much of my working life. No matter how much I earned, somehow the money always seemed to disappear before the end of the month. There were certainly times when that weighed heavily on me. I still remember that feeling - working hard, bringing home the paycheck, and wondering where it all went. So, I thought it was worth turning that familiar struggle into a song. “Money, Money” is a playful, slightly sarcastic look at the never-ending battle with cash, bills, bucks and dough. Money, Moneyhttps://soundclick.com/song/15348479[Instrumental Intro] [Verse ] I work nine to five Just to make ends meet Tried working overtime Just to stay on my feet [Verse ] I bring home every dollar I work hard every week But my money disappears As if my wallet's got a leak [Chorus] Money, money… where did you go? I just can't say, I don't know My wallet was full just yesterday I must have spent it all in one day Money, money… guess I spent it too fast Chasing dreams I hoped would last Where's my cash, where's my dough? Money, money… where did you go? [Break] [Verse ] When I was young, a dollar Could buy a lot more Now a hundred disappears Before I leave the store [Verse ] You trade the little house For one with more room Then wonder where your paycheck goes It disappears so soon [Chorus] Money, money… where did you go? I just can't say, I don't know My wallet was full just yesterday I must have spent it all in one day Money, money… guess I spent it too fast Chasing dreams I hoped would last Where's my cash, where's my dough? Money, money… where did you go? [Bridge] A fiver here, a tenner there Twenty bucks at the door A little bread for this and that And somehow there ain't more You swear you'll keep a little back The next time that you get paid But money has a funny way Of disappearing anyway [Interlude] [Final Chorus] Money, money… where did you go? I just can't say, I don't know My wallet was full just yesterday I must have spent it all in one day Money, money… guess I spent it too fast Chasing dreams I hoped would last Where's my cash, where's my dough? Money, money… where did you go? [Outro] Where's my cash? Where's my dough? Where'd all my money go? Money, money... I don't know

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
