I thought it was an outstanding talk. Billy Joel totally disrespected by the NY Times complete joke of a list. I think it was all intentional to get people rage baiting. No one with a clue about music would have left him off the list.

With all Billys millions . I think whats he's probably thinking is how much body of work can I leave behind before the grim reaper sneaks in on whatever age he is .

Well making millions is talking about the craft of songwriting . If he was no good at it . he would not make millions at it . I think he keeps going like Dylan , there is nothing else to do Jason Blume has nothing to do with Billy . Not sure why you brought that up

You always sound so hostile . I've listened to enough advice on song writing . Thats not the hard part . The hard part is recording them to beat AI robot songs
Suno gives you the identity of sounding and looking like Brad Pitt for 3 minutes . When the dopamines wear off . You're back to sounding and looking like a Basset hound.
It's a beautiful ploy by Suno . They know that and thats why the company is worth billions .

For starts use spell check . I never said I was a good as Billy Joel . I write my little songs , record and promote . I followed Billy Joels advice . You do not . you push buttons

Like I said I followed Billy Joels advice . write songs and record them . You push Suno buttons. Why don't you ask Billy about pushing buttons ? I'm sure he would be impressed with it . Yes I put some lyrics in a box and push a button . I'm a true artist Billy . I also have very strong commutation skills in telling other writers they're jacking each other off . I'm sure he'd love to hear from you . You can't even spell wit .

I'm taking about learning to write, I don't write anything like Billy writes, Bruce much more.
It's not hero worship, its holy [naughty word removed] this guy is so good, and success leaves clues.
I agree nobody is me, that's the only way a schlepp like me can have a chance, to be the best darn me, I can be.
But learning and getting better, is the whole point.
