Who is responsible
You wake up one day
And you’ve lost your way
Empty phases
Odd little phrases
Where did I put my shoes

The shoes are there
Lucky. They fit.
On your feet
One foot in front
Follow the other

Sometime it works to follow
Sometime folks
Know where to go
One foot in front of the other.

Well at least I’m walking now
But talking might be a struggle
Do I have ideas
Can I think of things
I fear I will get no reaction

Could it possibly be
I’m out the door
Sitting in a small cafe
I turn my head
So glad I’m able

She sits serene
Reading a book. So close.
I could touch her table
She turns her head
With the slim est of smiles
She speaks to me

Her words are clear
Whole and round
Perfectly formed
Warm and right
I loose my fear
I know where I am
She speaks to me

She asked me how I’d been
Like she had known me before
I wondered how this could be
She speaks to me

I skip a step
I hear the score
I’m not as lost
As I was before

She speaks to me
She speaks to me

A touch of hand
A friendly smile
Extreme serene
I feel the meaning
She speaks to me

She's the air in my lungs when I say her name
my pulse is much quicker and she's to blame
I've sat here before but it's not the same
She speaks to me
She speaks to me

We can't talk politics
We can't talk religion
You can't stand my music
I'm no help in the kitchen

You think fishin' is just lazy
And your Mother fuk'n drives me crazy

Baby it's time for you to go
I don't care which direction
Take your fat ass south to Mexico
I need some time alone
Baby it's time for you to go

There's no apologies
All promises are broke
And if you say you're pregnant
I'm gonna' have a fuk'n stroke

I need some time to recover
I swear I'm gonna' kill your fuk'n Mother

Baby it's time for you to go...

Thanks Dave and Tony

This will be my discard. Post spot. Stealth.

Call for war ships in strait of Hormuz?
Canada sends out canoe with a moose
Named destroyer
Laugh so fierce, bound to foyle you.

Wednesday morning
Not ready to go
Yet.
Got coffee on
And sour dough bread
In the toaster
Weather wise no roaster
Hey it’s middle of winter

Got beginner band at 11
Drumming, an acoustic set
I’m not much beyond boom chuck
But I keep a steady beat

It’s a brass band
It’s a brass band
Like the sound of a tombone
Takes me downtown to

New Orleans
New Orleans
Pretty ole town
That I’ve never seen

Searching searching
For that r&b sound
Help me find it OK?
Stick around.

My baby likes a moon.
When it looks like a cheshire smile
And too,

when a half moon looks like pizza
She likes my hungry style
But when she likes it best
Is when it’s full and round
She likes her billy silly
Down on that fool fool ground

Lite up by that full fool moon

Hey Bill,

I have a built in mic on my all-in-one PC and a copy of Audacity to record with.

I have no professional equipment to work with. Sorry.

Peace,

Dave

Question: Can you open audacity, press record, and record a track, singing or talking, using the pc mic?

If you're already on your computer... and SUNO is the final destination...

What's the point?

Well, save another poor musical soul from the horrors of suno addiction.

You yourself have held out very well.

I slip back into addiction. It so easy. You know, click the create button, magic.

But….it is more satisfying to create one’s own. Even if it means accepting the fact that it is…not so good really. But at least one is not delusional.

Your non-suno music is good. But why aren’t you happy with your creations? Aren’t you one of the lucky ones that has no addiction, creates his own?

Yessir! I've done that a few times now and had SUNO do a cover of my song.

"Say Something Nice" and most recently "Where We've Been" are examples.

Peace,

Dave

Excellent! That opens up the non-suno collab possibilities for this thread. Cheers!

KL gave the chords to Standing Here as G, A, D. That is 1, 2, & 5 chords. the 2 chord is Am maybe.

But I chanced on a youtube with 1, 2, 5 chords and wanted to save it for reference, future music creation, etc.

Suno chords for ‘Who is responsible’ (the first four posts in this thread) are:

Chords in the Key of A Natural Minor
i - A minor (Am): A - C - E
iidim - B diminished (Bdim): B - D - F
III - C major (C): C - E - G
iv - D minor (Dm): D - F - A
v - E minor (Em): E - G - B
VI - F major (F): F - A - C
VII - G major (G): G - B - D

Very simply. 1, 4, 5. Am, Dm, Em.
This is what I will work on.

Actually, suno is in key Cm, but I dropped it down to Am…..bar chords are so hard on arthritic fingers!

Yes , I do it all the time when I want to give Suno my vocal melody. I do have a mic, but I don't always need to use it.

I have all this equipment I never use. I have a Fender rumble 100 bass amp, that I purchased 3 years ago, that I have hardly touched. So I was loooking at YouTube to get familiar w it. I want to record a bass/drum thing. Here is a short YouTube demo of one of the rumbles features. To start.

Recorded bass line direct into daw from xlr connect in back of amp. Used a click track.

Didn't use any of the sound shapping button as shown in youtube.

Next , added drums. Difficult. kept speeding up. touch inconsistent. steady rhythm difficult. With repeated takes, I began to improve.

Sound scape.....very heavy bass domination in end product....that surprised me....maybe try the bright or contour shape next time.

I liked the contour+bright in the vid.

Your XLR out may be overdriving your DAW.
Also, check the tone controls at your line in (DAW).

Some amps also have a built in "Cabinet Simulator" on the line out, which mimics a mic and a much larger speaker box...

Try the headphone line out and use your DAW monitors.

Thanks. That keeps my head in it. Looking forward to testing some of the variables. Cheers!
