Mr. Always Right https://soundclick.com/song/15132344[Intro] Whoa, Mr. Always Right [Verse] He’s got a PhD in every thread A keyboard crown upon his head Scroll too far, you’ll feel the flame He’s calling names and spreading blame [Pre-chorus] He don’t argue — no, he educates And when he’s cornered, he elevates [Chorus] Whoa, Mr. Always Right Preaching loud into the night He’s the storm that stirs the fight He vents, he bites, ignites the site Whoa, Mr. Always Right [Break] [Verse] You can talk about love, or cars, or pie But mention politics —oh my, oh my! His face turns red, the caps lock flies The thread explodes, and reason dies [Pre-chorus] He don’t argue — no, he educates And when he’s cornered, he elevates [Chorus] Whoa, Mr. Always Right Preaching loud into the night He’s the storm that stirs the fight He vents, he bites, ignites the site Whoa, Mr. Always Right [Bridge] He’s the maestro of the meltdown A poet of the feud He’ll twist your words to fit his mood Then blame you for being rude [Breakdown – spoken] “Now listen, I’m not aggressive. I’m just correct.” [Interlude] [Chorus] Whoa, Mr. Always Right Preaching loud into the night He’s the storm that stirs the fight He vents, he bites, ignites the site Whoa, Mr. Always Right [Outro] He vents, he bites, he picks a fight Whoa, Mr. Always Right

Sounds good Robert Ben, Thanks for the feedback! I love the laid-back vibe of this one, and the vocals sound awesome. Just to clarify, this song isn’t about any real person—I’ve moved on from writing songs about Trump. This character is entirely fictional.

I just wanted to point out that you can hear spoken vocals in this track. To achieve this, I embedded prompts in the lyrics. I left them in so you can see how I did it — in case you ever want to try something similar in the future.

This is a great production, in my opinion shouldn't be wasted on Dictates.
It's best as a love song Mrs always right. That's what I call a good groove too
But it is funny and nails him

Hey Dom, thanks for the feedback. You like the groove? Guess what? Syncopated drums and funky bass. Those are awesome prompts.

Sure... Let's just have a conversation about it My eX was "always right", especially when she was drunk lol. She's the reason I now go months at a time without drinking... It's just not as much fun as it used to be. She could rationalize ANYTHING, and ignored EVERYTHING that challenged her sensibilities. If the gas bill cut into her beer and hamburger budget, she would buy the groceries and proclaim, "I'm a grown woman... I'm not going to do without!" She maxed all her credit cards and said, "Relax, there's nothing they can do about it..." She would also provide the kids with an excuse for anything and simply say, "All they need is love!" "Tell the little fuk'ers to quit drinking my beer!" Needless to say... politics, religion, and my bank account, were the reasons I turned the garage into my man-cave until the youngest turned 18. Her "counselor" actually told me to do that lol. Chance of wasted time and effort That voice will make your head hurt But, Little miss always right Sure has a short skirt... Lol, I think I would write a cautionary tale.

Ok Dom, Is this what you mean? Mrs. Always Right https://soundclick.com/song/15132949[Intro] Whoa, Mrs. Always Right [Verse] She’s got a halo and a little sass A mirror that don’t need no glass She reads my mind before I speak And wins the fight by the end of the week [Pre-chorus] She don’t argue — no, she illustrates Then smiles at me while she educates [Chorus] Whoa, Mrs. Always Right She’s shining like a neon light She’s got the last word wrapped up tight Turns every wrong into delight Whoa, Mrs. Always Right [Break] [Verse] She’s got charm and a knowing grin Lets me believe that I might win But every time, I see the signs — She’s three steps past the finish line [Pre-chorus] She don’t argue — no, she demonstrates Then laughs so sweet my heart vibrates [Chorus] Whoa, Mrs. Always Right She’s shining like a neon light She’s got the last word wrapped up tight Turns every wrong into delight Whoa, Mrs. Always Right [Bridge] Yeah, I’m her fool and proud to be She runs this show so easily When she’s near, the world’s aligned And I don’t even mind [Breakdown – spoken] “I’m not agreeing, I’m just… strategically surrendering.” [Interlude] [Chorus] Whoa, Mrs. Always Right She’s shining like a neon light She’s got the last word wrapped up tight Turns every wrong into delight Whoa, Mrs. Always Right [Outro] Yeah, she’s the reason wrong feels right Whoa, Mrs. Always Right

This thread’s turning into a real songwriting melting pot!

I think there are artsy kinda songs, dig deeper into the human psyche, then there are pop songs not meant to be too deep or over thought.
If your goal is what's happening on radio today, this might even be better than it

Dom, it will be interesting to hear what my wife thinks about this one tomorrow morning. Thank you for the inspiration.

"Stop the process I call 'waiting to live.' This is the worst type of procrastination, because there will always be another 'reason to wait' lurking ahead. Once you are in this rut, it is nearly impossible to get out of it. Instead, adopt a 'Live as you Go' mentality." -Brian Austin Whitney
