The pool of users to these sites dwindled, due to aging out and passing away, maybe boredom with the hobby as an activity. Also, at the outset of the internet surge, there was an illusion that these sites were a gateway to "getting noticed" by the music business. For a microscopically small number of people, that came true. For the rest, as years passed, the illusion faded. That left a reduced percentage to work with. Then you have mismanagement that allows acrimonious atmospheres created by threads such as this one, and the result is further deterioration in participation amongst the ones that are left. Parallel to that, streaming laid waste the income stream of songwriting as an occupation. And now AI appears to be the "2 punch."

Precarious atmospheres need to be approached with caution. They can spike south quickly. Just darn it. FYI... you own the song too. As does Rob , I suppose. But SUNO owes you nothing for it, and they can use it anyway they choose and profit, without any obligation to you. The consolation...they wont happen. No tangible harm was done here.
