Hey Fdem, this is a sharp, satirical lyric with a strong political edge and a clear voice. The concept—mock-praising while exposing hypocrisy—is clever and biting. To make it flow better as a song, I tried to polish the rhythm, strengthen rhyme and meter, and keep your humor and irony intact. This is what I came up with. Feel free to use anything you want.
Orange Man Good
[hyper-modern production with clear vocals, no autotune, Dolby Atmos mix, high-fidelity, high-definition audio and wide stereo]
[Instrumental Intro]
[Verse] I want my Wendy’s job They took it away “America First,” they said Such great pay
[Verse] The great orange king Knows just what we need We ain’t near divided enough So he helps us all agree
[Pre-chorus] If we all got along, what would we do? Who’d yell “fake news” or sing this tune?
[Chorus] Orange man good, orange man great He saved the land from its sad blue fate He made America strong and grand More than any dictator can
[Break]
[Verse] There’s no drug use, no despair Nobody’s high—at least not there The greatest threat we face, I fear Is playin’ sports while queer
[Verse] My well-respected leader, bold and fair Got foreign nations shakin’ scared They don’t call him names or dare To mess with that majestic hair
[Chorus] Orange man good, orange man great He saved the land from its sad blue fate He made America strong and grand More than any dictator can
[Bridge] Sometimes it takes a crook, no doubt To sniff the other villains out We’re lucky ours is pure and true And makin’ things “yuge”—who knew?
[Interlude]
[Final chorus] Orange man good, orange man great He saved the land, just ask your state He made America strong and grand More than any dictator can
[Outro] Yeah, orange man good... Orange man great... Ain’t we lucky, it’s not too late
Your parody of my parody song is a regurgitation of the same empty political facts and blind and unrelenting allegiance to 20-80 issues that got Trump re-elected. It is a faint reflection of a self-isolating left-fringe mentality that ignores reality and clings to upside down notions that human bodies with 30 trillion Y chromosomes can be legitimately allowed to compete in female sporting events. It clings to the notion that such a body with 30 trillion chromosomes can simply wish itself to be the opposite sex.
It presents itself in saving a "democracy" that fosters and enables such misguided thinking.
It is a poster for the outlandish 20-80 positions that re-elected a law-and-order personality such as Trump, notwithstanding every force in the incumbent govt throwing everything that they had to destroy him. If not for such insanity, there would have been no springboard for Trump.
That is why my original parody song has the bite of reality and your parody of my version is faint and unconvincing.
Marty, you keep trying to turn songwriting discussions into political arguments — I’m not interested in that. I write songs, sometimes serious, sometimes satirical, and that’s all this was. For the record, this is Fdem’s song — I just offered a few suggestions to help him finish it. It’s been up for two months, and you didn’t comment until now. If you can’t separate creativity from politics, that’s on you. I’m here for music, not mudslinging. It’s a parody song, not a political debate. Relax — it’s only music.

Give it up Rob. You know that your song has political lyrical content. You knew that when you sat down to specifically re-write a parody of my parody...it was intended to be baiting and provocative. Try intellectual honesty. Own what you do.
I took the bait, knowing it was a baited mousetrap, and knowing that it was completely legit to critique the content of this song.
Here is the reality... SUNO writes your music. You play no instruments as far as I know and cannot sing. You are a lyricist. When you put something up, you own the lyrics and whatever they express. Content critique of your lyrics is absolutely fair game.
As goofy as Dom is, he is not going to deny the obvious intent of what he wrote and try to pass it off as a strictly musical exercise. Be like Dom.
Marty, this lyric is sharp and satirical by design — I even mentioned that above. You’ve made a few assumptions about me that aren’t accurate. I actually write, record, and perform my own songs. Here’s a clip so you can see for yourself. Let’s keep things focused on the music — that’s what this forum is for.
You may play some piano. It appears you do. Let's call that a fact. And you are singing along to it. Let's call that a fact. Is it good? Depends on who you ask.
You, and I, rise to a (somewhat) professional musical level when we let AI write and produce our songs. We become lyricists and pretend producers. A few prompts that leads to a full musical accompaniment is not us...it is ArtificiaI intelligence at work. That is all that I have seen you do in the last year or so.
You are a lyricist. The lyrical content and lyrical message of your songs is fair game for criticism. If that isn't true, it is the only thing that is not allowed on this site...and I guess that I will be banned for shining a light on your Rachel Maddow regurgitations. Que sera sera on that.
I don't care to critique the video.
In other news, I've got some very nice things going on that are taking my time and pulling me away from the computer. I wont have as much time at the computer to shine a clearer light on the thinking of you and Dom and Tony and Brian. But fear not, I will help all of you from time to time.
Regarding your various arguments and the 1stA. There is a subtext to the 1stA. It was designed to enable people to speak out against tyrants without repercussion. The subtext and varmint that came through the barn doors with it, is the contitutional right to say stuff that is dumb AF and wrong...up to the point of slander or causing intentional harm to others. Do as you will. Think what you will.

Marty, that statement might apply to you but not to me. Once again, you’ve made assumptions about me that aren’t accurate. I need to clarify: I have been actively writing, producing, and recording music for various artists for decades, and I have videos and recordings that show this. I’m proud of the work I do. I’m not interested in your other news — this thread is about Fdem’s song. I’m here to focus on songwriting and creative exchange, not to argue about personal abilities.
Mind you, as you say this is complete satire, i don't subscribe to most political points
Fdem, I wrote the following above: "this is a sharp, satirical lyric with a strong political edge and a clear voice. The concept—mock-praising while exposing hypocrisy—is clever and biting." You don't have to remind me what I wrote. What's wrong with you guys? I made a few suggestions. If you like them use them. Saying "Your suggestions may work depending on how it sounds in the end" sounds like you don't have a clue.

I like your suggestions, I dint know that I wanna work on this that much.
