https://suno.com/song/bba9c271-c465-4c4f-9f50-b13ce9a22f0dSnowflakes and Headlights The snow in Denver clouded up the sky Flakes the size of quarters shielding the night Two beams of light now guide me on my quest To 10220 Grippen lane I'll find my rest As I pull up near the sidewalk snow begins to wane Memories flood my mind like sand in an open hand Thoughts of you and me dancing in the night Held together by the glow of those car headlights Snowflakes fall like whispers of the past We were meant for moments destined not to last Underneath the sky a frozen serenade In the glow of headlights our love pirouette and fade The wipers clear my vision like hands wiping tears Streetlights cast shadows on our hopes and fears Grippen lane is calling with an echoing refrain But the silence in the snowfall brings a soft pain Breath clouding the windows of my car Wishing on snowflakes like falling stars Inside a blizzard of thoughts and dreams Feeling closer to you with each frozen beam Snowflakes fall like whispers of the past We were meant for moments destined not to last Underneath the sky a frozen serenade In the glow of headlights our love pirouette and fade

We’re all built from the same dust and dreams, Different roads, but the same means.

Although this isn't my genre of choice, I enjoyed not only the lyrics but the composition itself. The rise in Verse 3 is really good. The voice reminds me of Iris Dement but in a more modern pop style. The lyrics are vivid and made me want to reach for a blanket. Good stuff!

"The standard by which I now measure the things in my life is the following: If I was on my death bed, or if I knew I had a short time to live, would this issue be important? If the answer is no.. I don't sweat it at all. If the answer is Yes, you better believe it goes to the front of the order of today's business!" -Brian Austin Whitney
