This is an HBO series that used a track of mine titled "A Grand Romantic Gesture - Sax". Season 4, episode 5 (titled: You Shall Remember) of Righteous Gemstones. A comedy with John Goodman, about dysfunctional Christian families. My track comes somewhere in the second half. Quite a long scene. Here's the music track: http://schicksville.com/A%20Grand%20Romantic%20Gesture%20-%20Sax.mp3 Patricio did a cool job on alto sax. I don't have HBO, so I haven't seen it. Appreciate the feedback from anyone that can see it. Best, John

This is awesome news, John!! My wife and I really liked that show. (mostly because of John Goodman) Now I gotta renew my MAX subscription so I can watch that scene again. Congratulations to you and Patricio! The track is wonderful! Well done, sir!
Peace,
Dave

Just watched it. Our music was so soft in the background. A little disappointing. Well, one never knows how the music is going to be used. Sometimes it's well on top, other times so soft like this show. Yeah, a disappointment.

Very cool. Wife and I have seen every episode. Wife and I have been following Walton Goggins (Baby Billy) ever since he was Boyd Crowder on Justified.
Congratulations on the placement. will go back and listen to that episode.

Craig, Marty & David... my music starts playing at 32:28, for about a minute and a half. But it's very soft.

Thanks Craig! Make sure you're wearing your hearing aid. Ha! I have a hearing appointment in two weeks. I did listen with my Bose headsets and the volume on the dialogue was about twice as ‘loud’ as your music. The music fit the scene really well though John. It’s where BJ and Judy are sort of reconciling, so it was nice. The monkey, Mr. Watson, is looking on with some jealousy. Part of the plot. Great show. I heard it only went 4 seasons because the cost of production was pretty high. Congrats!

Every bit counts John. I got paid for two songs in a movie even though they never made the final cut

Every bit counts John. I got paid for two songs in a movie even though they never made the final cut Yeah, I guess I'm a bit spoiled. I still get paid for this. And from what I've heard from listeners is the music can be heard just a bit soft. I have to remember that music supervisors make decisions on the effect of the scene - not promoting my music - ha, ha. Best, John

"The standard by which I now measure the things in my life is the following: If I was on my death bed, or if I knew I had a short time to live, would this issue be important? If the answer is no.. I don't sweat it at all. If the answer is Yes, you better believe it goes to the front of the order of today's business!" -Brian Austin Whitney
