We are living in an upside-down world, and the answers to our questions are often best explained by our good friends, the Democrats. If you can’t figure out your world anymore, just ask a Democrat. They will be happy to field all your questions, show you charts, provide mainstream media news clippings, and, most importantly, explain everything to you in a child's language that you can understand, highlighting all the misunderstandings you have had throughout your entire life.

“Ask A Democrat”
By Me and a Buddy

We’re living in a world where up is now down,
Where down is now up, and freedom is bound.
Boys may be girls, and girls may be boys;
Opinions are facts, and the truth is just noise.

Well, if you can't make sense of it all,
If you find yourself in a world of doubt,
If it hurts to try, when wondering why,
It’s a fight to know what it's all about...

… Ask a Democrat.
They’ll be happy to address your concerns.
They’ve got the charts and news links
And all the time it takes you to learn.
They’ll be happy to explain in a way
That even you can understand.
Just ask a Democrat,
About their blue-pill Utopian plan.

We’re living in a world where right is now wrong,
Where wrong is now right, and you don’t belong.
Good is now bad, and bad is now good.
Which hat do I wear… black or white—or a hood?

Well, it’s a mad, mad world, for sure.
But when the red pill you insisted on
Has you hearing shrills, like it’s crazy pills
And you’ve had enough and just want it gone…

… Ask a Democrat.
They’ll be happy to address your concerns.
They’ve got the charts and news links
And all the time it takes you to learn.
They’ll be happy to explain in a way
That even you can understand.
Just ask a Democrat,
About their blue-pill Utopian plan.

I LOVE IT!

However...
I just realized there's a lot of gen-Z who haven't ever seen "The Matrix"

O_o

Damn... We're getting old

Well, frankly, I believe the music industry... much like all liberal media... has cut its own dick off.
But,
everyone here seems to blame me lol...

Hey IronKnee ,

Strong message here with a definitive shout-out to The Matrix. Do I also see a nod to The Kinks' "Lola"? - "Boys may be girls, and girls may be boys;"

Also... Is IronKnee a play on 'irony' ? If so, Good one! :-)

Peace,

Dave

its works man , I'm sure conservatives have all the AI tricks also , that's the problem in a broke system , Blue and red don't get along and get zero done . if it was a business it fail and it does . the government should practice what it preaches , Their credit score is minus 10 trillion

No... it's not you. You've always been like this. And you've always had some killer music.

Yeah....the Kinks line just popped out, and I just left it as is. Any money this lyric makes I'll give to them ;-)
And "IronKnee" is a play on words with just one additional side note... I was a miler and later a 10K runner throughout my life. And my knees are still going strong. And I might be surprised to learn that the Gen-Z crowd doesn't know about the Matrix. It's iconic...and it is referenced a lot, still, today. Thanks for stopping by. You know, the JPF site use to be a happening place. It seems to be on its last breath. What happened?

Maybe there is some reason for some hope here, Bennash. Trump is laying out some platitudes, for sure........but his last 4 years proved that he wasn't just another blow hard that couldn't back anything up. Let's give him a chance and see what he does in these 4 years.

Who would do the work , lazy white kids ? not going to happen. You should invest in doge coin. watch that baby climb. What happened to this site ? AI invaded . Guitars hang on walls now . 4000 members... 3 people post songs of guitar playing , the rest are robots .

The Matrix franchise is iconic indeed. (though they could have ended the movies at "Revolutions" and I would have been satisfied) :-)

10k runner?? That's impressive! Well done there!

I can't speak on what happened here, as I myself became distant for a bit. There are, however, plenty of opinions posted throughout this site about it.

As for me now, I'm back and enjoying the rush I get writing again. I didn't even know about Suno or Udio until I got here, but I'm glad those tools are available for writers like me. I'm also looking forward to collab'ing again with other like-minded musicians and artists here. While this site may not house the same life it once had, I still consider it "home". It's nice to see some of my old friends are still here, too. I hope more can find their way back.

Peace,

Dave

HI, thank you for commenting on BTD,
I like the gist here, but this bit feels awkward to me,

… Ask a Democrat.
They’ll be happy to address your concerns.

I'd suggest
