I watched this Rick Beato video analyzing the song Honesty...and Honestly you'll wanna quit writing, I mean look at that manuscript.
But I thought how can a guy so successful be underrated. I think it's cause he's a pop Songwriter. But he's soooooo good as a composer. And a solid lyricist.
interesting how this came up suddenly. It does blow my mind how. Billy can be underrated with all the success he's had
I agree Billy's lyrics are not always great and border on superficial, but he is a pop Songwriter after all. And he has written some great lyrics along the way too
But I'm not sure Paul Simon can compose like Billy, and I love both artists.
And frankly the point of a pop lyric is to be understood, not sitting there trying to figure out what you can call me al means lol. Iove the sing but naive? U can call me all.
Ok Paul your forgiven. And your sing questions for the angles moved me like none other recently.
