War du Jour V1 Does anybody care what’s going on Entitled Nations debating everyday Arguing who’s right and who’s wrong Lips are moving, got nothing to say V2 They’re voting on a resolution Ain’t trying to find a cure Just hoping for a quick solution To the latest, latest war du jour Chorus The DNA of a war du jour Is found in the blood that’s been shed You’d think by now we’d be sick of it all At least the counting of the dead Solo V3 Today they're fightin' in the Middle East Been there done that before The land of God has seen no peace In its forever war du jour Its forever war du jour Chorus The DNA of a war du jour Is found in the blood that’s been shed You’d think by now we’d be sick of it all At least the counting of the dead V4 Nothing changes, just the names Of those dying for the cause Forget about a lasting peace We're just hoping for a pause Bridge Til "folks" get fed up and shout That's it, no more There will always be A war du jour Chorus The DNA of a war du jour Is found in the blood that’s been shed You’d think by now we’d be sick of it all At least the counting of the dead

Creators of music have a responsibility to their craft. When they have finished using all the notes and words, they must pass them down to the next generation with a simple request. “Use these to create new music.”...Steven McDonald

"You’d think by now we’d be sick of it all..." Lol, connoisseurs for sure! Relax, there's only one big dust-up left... Lol
The journey is definitely more important than the destination...

Good title...I thought of the word blasé for some reason. Surfing the net and a menu of various world conflicts presents for my clicking...? amusement or boredom. Like an attitude song....wake the audience somehow...start a peace revolution. Shock and awe effect....and then a bomb when off in my backyard.
And my house and me were flying into the beyond.
Just some thoughts...picking up on Tony's idea...just one left.

Well written song Steven , Bridge is a tad long... radio wise . Some great lines on cavemen mentality and wars.
