Here’s a new song I recently wrote and recorded called “Please Rescue Me”. Alice Radomska, a lyricist from Sweden, sent me a song lyric that I found inspiring. I couldn’t resist making it come to life. I love the crunch guitar in the final chorus. The song kind of grows on you when you hear it more often. I often listen to this one when I go out running. Feedback is very much appreciated. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14268122PLEASE RESCUE ME Verse 1 There's always a view I could paint On canvas or just in my mind My town was so peaceful and quaint That's why I left it all behind Pre-chorus I was young, I felt no fear I lived and I loved, and got lost My skies are no longer clear Must life be just at any cost? Chorus Rescue me please rescue me Lead me out of this colorless fog Rescue me please rescue me Michelangelo, Rembrandt, van Gogh Verse 2 I'm restless, my soul kind of boils As I stare at my color palette When I start mixing the oils I ask how grey can my bright colors still get? Pre-chorus Chorus Bridge Each color turns to grey, heavy grey, almost black Are the demons of darkness, just about to attack? Rescue me please rescue me Rescue me please rescue me Rescue me please rescue me Lead me out of this colorless fog Rescue me please rescue me Michelangelo, Rembrandt, van Gogh Outro Rescue me, rescue me Rescue me please rescue me Lyrics: Alice Radomska Music: Robert Baitinger

Hi Tony, nice idea. A lead vocal harmony or more like harmony oohs in the background?

Definitely lead vox harmony. That descending vox progression following the piano sounds lonely, like harmony was always intended

Chasing the muse....in paint ...like it and the music and melody makes it work nicely. Definitely memorable "rescue me"
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
