You don't know or understand me. Never have. I'm not flying off the handle. Just being matter of fact.
The killings are tragic. So are the uncountable murders that happen every weekend across the country.

But,
We are a gun country.
If we weren't, the 2nd amendment, like slave and suffrage references would have been repealed and removed from the constitution.
The repeal of guns stands no chance of occurring. None. Zero. Only a fool believes otherwise.
The cat (guns) are out of the bag and not going back in. The buy-back programs are just libtard feel-good masturbation techniques and campaign speeches aimed at people that are too dumb and/or deluded to know better.
There are a bazillion guns out there and if guns are outlawed, only law abiding citizens will not have access to them.
People like me can connect the actual dots that are in place and not the fantasy dots.
We want our guns to protect ourselves from the bad people that will always have guns.

What do you and I possibly agree on?
Universal gun registration and proof of ID. Not just for guns, but voting. Already have it for vehicles. Possession of a lethal weapon is a legit thing to have registered...on every occasion of purchase or transfer. All of mine are.

I'm also in favor of being able to tamp down nut jobs before they create a crime scene. When I was a kid, the cops could go lean on those phuques and "jack them up." The ACLU et al put an end to that.

Additionally,

I've explained this to Steve, but once again.
You all are very fortunate human beings.
You live in a lovely modern nation bounded by polar bear country to the pole, two oceans and the 800 pound gorilla.
In addition, your culture, to date, is relatively cohesive.

Because of your protective borders and the protective umbrella of the US military and polar ice, you have the luxury of believing that all of your libtard fantasy stuff truly works. It doesn't. It is just a protected illusion. As a Texan, the luxury of any such fantasies has been eroded for me. If the US were to ever withdraw our protective umbrella from you, then you would lose that luxury also. Polar bears and the oceans would not keep the wolves at bay.

Believe what you will, but I've watched liberal policies erode my nation for an entire lifetime, beginning with the undoing of the educational system. It is happening at such a rapid rate now, that I am alarmed enough to be very frank about it.

However, I am mad, but not angry. I'm just laying a point of view out clearly for you that seems to be lost on you.
And, Other than the dude with the couffed hair, I do not know the name of one Canadian politician and dont plan to intrude any further into however you all want to run your country.
Please provide the same consideration to my country.

I hope to have been enlightening.

Coming from you?

Gotta love you Tony. Check those meds.

Btw...the purpose of internet forums is diffuse by their nature. Staying on point is not really a rule of order. If it was, you would been banned long ago.

I’m not sure why you bothered to make this statement. Neither John nor I made any comment about getting rid of guns..me thinks you might be a little sensitive..in fact Canada has 12 million+guns and I am in favour of gun ownership

You seem to have some knowledge of Canadian culture...please tell me about the relative cohesiveness of that culture...to date...to help you out, I’ll give you some facts....by way of example, The city of Toronto is considered to be the most multicultural city in the world..with 200 ethnic groups and 140 languages spoken within the city limits...population $6.2 million in the GTA....50% of the population has come from outside the country...oddly enough, they all seem to get along pretty well

01A-It's the worldwide libtardian characterization of the US. There should be no argument here.

02A - There are some very reasonable and realistic things about you Steve.

The world wakes up tomorrow and Canada is a frozen, human-less wilderness? What might lay ahead for the US? The northern territory becomes the 51st state.

Thank you Marty for an enlightening exchange

First off I understand completely how having all that killing going on around you becomes matter of fact.....though it happens more than just every weekend. Nashville today was just one of two so far....5 reported injured in Milwaukee ....which is about the avaerage for March so far....(found here if interest...found it only to find out what the rate was)
https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting?page=1

We can agree it is unlikely that the constitution will be amended, certainly within the next x generations with a majority conservative viewpoint toward US constitution. So that this then become a self defense NEED|SAFETY REQUIREMENT need for its citizens ....is a viewpoint I have not lived and have no experience in and I totally cede to it. Total reality for you. Tragic too that it becomes\became that way. Perhaps an unintended consequence of the founding father's vision of that amendment that can probably be be traced to them not knowing where mankind's wonderful mind ....that can ask such big questions of the wonderful world and universe around us, and to the mind and minds that through successive generations and iterations ask and follow questions towards the improvements in the manufacture of arms, and to the art and industry of killing, so that you have the need the live as you do.

As for solutions we can agree on? Unlikely simply because we face different conditions and have different forms of government. I simply hope for your safety because I personally know you. As you correctly point out everyone else is a statistic that happens on (we now know more than just) weekends.

Also hope things that you think may work for Texas are enacted.

as for the additionally......

yes we are incredibly fortunate....incidents and accidents in and of geography. Totally agree.

We are a modern North American nation, a Parliamentary Democracy with a British tradition, with a growing recognition of the land here and time before Canada became what has become The Great White North, or just simply, The North.

Together, the USA and Canada, have shared the northern half of the Western Hemisphere since founding nations on earlier inhabited lands, and have independent histories with.......with among other differences .... wars against nations dependent on independent strategic interests and Canada has real and independent relationships with countries even as we share levels of interest. You statement about your interest in Canada proves the point ....we're simply part of your background....unimportand and unnoticed and unoffe3nsive until we blur it or shake it up. That you see the need to have such a large army is not historically in order to provide a benefit to Canada. And who exactly are you protecting us from???

And our Libtard policies work for the cultural and historical and political reasons we can talk about ....but they would simply not work for you for cultural and historical and political reasons, plus what you call Libtard policy is very
much something that would also have to be clarified....like what makes you say "I've watched liberal policies erode my nation for an entire lifetime, beginning with the undoing of the educational system"

So that is yet unclear to me because I have no context to evaluate "what policies eroded what" and "beginning with the undoing of the educational system"....again ...no context of before and after.....

Much better, Marty...you're learning how to defend your position

Sir John A.....Canada's first Prime Minister....
Tommy Douglas....you won't like this guy...not a PM

I've no desire to meddle in your country's affairs.

Well thank goodness for that ...I was about to contact CSIS....the Canadian organization that spies on the US...we know all about you folks....Everyone in Canada gets a report...F.O.I.A

Oh...I almost forgot, I just started a new class...at my age..I just learned the words "da" and "nyet" it's mandatory learning in Canada now

John

All the way down to the last last couple of paragraphs, I saw nothing that a person like me would disagree with.

Liberal policies?...

Education? Continual dumbing down of standards for the accommodation of poor students, illegal aliens and inept educators who now produce high school graduates that function at a middle school level per standardized tests. Falling behind a great many countries in the world. The State of Texas took over the Houston Ind Sch District last week, because it is a disgrace.

Border? Inability or lack of want to control a border that has flooded illegals into this country for decades burdening schools, hospitals. Insurance premiums and on and on.

Criminal rights advocates and "woke" DAs that are turning killers back out to the streets...at present...in Houston.

I could go on but it depresses me as the list develops.

I appreciate you a lot Marty...and I've said it before my connection to the US is long and deep...and I say many of the things you have said at JPF when I am defending the US to a lot of antis we have up here

You have a beautiful country full of lots of nice people. Your country makes for a great neighbor to have. I can't think of a better one.
Just tell some of 'em (John), we don't need any help from them with our affairs. It is a confused enough mess without the interference.

With regard,
Marty

Personally I felt the speech was a little to much Rah, Rah...go team! But that's just me..I think he helped to assuage our concerns a little bit about "buy America" but we've been down that road, even before Trump. He was, of course, well received in Parliament by all political parties and American leaders tend to be well liked by Canadians...perhaps the exception being the Donald who never visited the Great White North except for the G7 in 2018...during his time in office, he never gained any traction here.

Personally I think Biden did the one thing Dems put him in to do...beat Trump....I'm not sure they know what to do with him now...LOL

"Some of them here" reporting for duty.....I get it

We got side tracked when I used the same argument for AI as that used to support the 2nd amendment .....it is not the tech or tool it is the wielder and their intent

That then resulted in your response where you took my post as meddling (I get sarcasm in helping in your affairs.....but then I did use the word trope which was pretty pregnant I admit LOL) in gun laws, where to me it was simply the nearest analogy if you want to discuss AI and its potential impact on society. It was a relevant comparison.

With your real life living experience with the 2nd amendment and guns I do understand your personal position better now.

Steve, I believe this is the way you and I first met lol...

John, Steve... I am completely ignorant of the "goings on' in Canada. The only thing I know is, Canada only has 6% the population of the US. So, obviously, stats are skewed.

However, being the deductive sort, and having absolutely no faith in "fake media", I am sincerely and intensely curious about how others live.

(I should probably preface this by admitting... Ya'll have driven me to drink. I've had three dirty vodka martinis and am feeling quite... contentious)

Questions;
1- How many homicides have there been in Canada in the past three years?
2- Do you really believe in Trudeau's vision of the future?
3- Do you honestly have any faith in "YOUR" news media?

With regard to question #1 please bear in mind the vast population difference, and your sudden statistical increase in crime... just like all other countries....

Math, like "free will", is certainly a B!t(H!

Canada has approx. 11% the population of US or 37 million+-people....We average about 700-800 homicides per year...which is considered a rare occurrence... with the 11% ratio, the US should average about 7000 to 8000 a year.....I live about 50 miles from the worst mass murder in the history of our country..22 in Nova Scotia in April 2020 over 2days

I personally don't pay attention to any politicians vision of the future, it has no impact on me personally..IMO they are political statements needed to be made to get elected...it makes no difference who is elected in Canada, IMO, because nothing really changes..we are a left of centre country (backed up by facts) and have been for over 100 years...when Canadians get tired of Libs after 10-15 years they elect the Cons for a few years (in some cases months) and then re=elect Libs for another 10 to 15 years (nice gig if you can get it) LOL...did you have in mind any particular vision Trudeau might have stated when you asked the question?

I very much have faith in the media both on the left and right...keep in mind because the world has shrunk, and global media is only a click away so I don't really talk in terms of "OUR NEWS MEDIA" I would watch as much news/commentary from the US as I would from Canada...and I am a regular contributor, with my own personal opinions, on a local radio talk show in Halifax so I do get directly involved...in fact, get ready for this JAPOV....I recently defended Trump on a show about the SVB bank collapse in the US where people were blaming his signing the banking deregulation bill for its collapse..I said they were full of crap...I was called in back in the 1980's to oversee the closure of a small bank in Canada so I had a pretty good knowledge of what happened to SVB and deregulation had nothing to do with it....Biden also got caught with his pants down on this one..the feds messed up...that IMO is why he guaranteed 100% of the bank deposits...he just wants this mess to go away...

Steve

Must be nice to be so isolated from current events... If it truly doesn't matter, then why did Trudeau make such a show of kissing Biden's a$$? If nothing ever changes, then why are we even having this stupid conversation? Face it, you're just as much a victim of the "wanna'be" global elite as everyone else...

Believe me, your bias is quite evident... Whether out of self preservation or a twisted sense of integrity, your loyalty to the MSM is dogmatic. Any current sympathy you may have for Trump is only a matter of common sense because you feel which way the wind is blowing. Go ahead and take pride in your "involvement"... The truth is absolute and never wavers.

Could someone please check in on JAPOV....he's being way too polite with his response here...I think he may have asked AI to write a response to my post along the lines of what JAPOV might write,,,but gentler than he normally would...

If I thought you really meant what you say here I might be upset..but admitting you are drunk tells me I need to forgive your rudeness....I think you badly need help, my friend...normal human beings aren't this vindictive..however drinking can change people as I'm sure you are aware

Sorry I missed your feisteefizzbang Tony....I had checked out for the night....Hope your head's not pounding too much today cause then you can't rock out

.... does raise another advantage of being from The North

You could have made mellow arguments had you lived here ....just by walking down to your local dispensary for some cannabis

You would have been singing Kumbaya instead smile

Oh and give us a heads up before your next session so we can all tackle you at once and at least give you a fair game.

Naaah', I don't feel guilty for self abuse...

John's right though... I prefer recreational ganja. No hangover.

Oh, hell... there goes my image lol...

In retrospect, one was good. Two was better. Three was enough. The fourth was still on the end table this morning... I've had that bottle since the last 4th of July, so don't get the wrong idea.

My apologies...

Ah glad you can still rock n roll and do your POV thing while self abusing to a moderate degree Tony...... and that you can do so with no guilt at all...well that's just keeping with Aristotle's Mean ....to stay between extremes.
I am also totally pumped you have come out of the side of epicurian delights versus a stoic approach to life. In Rome Marty is kin of Lucretius by the way. Yeah epicurian delight is not incompatible with Aristotle's Mean at all.
You might ponder that while looking at that remaining amount on the end table

in the meantime I'm loving the image of trying to catch a frog that got away...

...and I really like yourt last rendition of walking a little bit slow you did ...the whole electric blue vibe and moves... and your voice take and feel of the song...thank you big time

posted my own version of curiosly witty irises....dont know if you saw it. bumped your version of it too when I posted mine
https://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1185689/curiously-witty-irisis.html#Post1185689

and Marty the phrase "judge not until you have walked a mile in my shoes" has been going through my mind.
to think an important reason you own an gun and defend ownership is to protect your own right to defend yourself against "all the crazies" out there
then to also find out Texas is home to some of the largest mass shootings over time is eye opening. ...and second most of all the states...with California in the lead
I fully see your point of view on this and let us agree any further dialogue between us will keep all that in mind

do understand that as the self labelled 800LB gorilla when I raise the issue and have an opinion, it is not entirely uninformed and not personally directed at "Marty is wrong" but at the 800 LB gorilla
My lens is as a Canadian whose geography, history, culture and experiences and viewpoints are not yours. We have values and opinions based on our shared history as Canadians.

You have actually been challenging JAPOV on the Bible and the existance of what I see as the One Shared God of Abraham....asking for proof of JAPOV's beliefs.... and those of Couch and Everett and others.

You are a self declared atheist if I understand this correctly. I mentioned Lucretius. Is his life occupying space in your head?

I've been messing with a rap lyric generator, the more you refine the input the better the output. This is the lyrics to the Joe Biden Corn pop encounter. If I messed with it long enough it would probably generate something close. This is just a random generator on the net, probably a better version somewhere that would nail it. You could probably get the core and rhyme this way and then change the lyrics to make sense,

A Delaware State of Mind (The Knife Hip Hop)
By Rocky
A Rap

Yeah, yeah
Ayo, corn pop, it's time.
It's time, corn pop (aight, corn pop, begin).
Straight out the crazy dungeons of rap.

The beef drops deep as does my chain.
I never talk, 'cause to talk is the instructor of domain.
Beyond the walls of boys, life is defined.
I think of danger when I'm in a delaware state of mind.

Hope the domain got some plane.
My train don't like no dirty vein.
Run up to the strain and get the disdain.

In a delaware state of mind.
What more could you ask for? The sweaty beef?
You complain about diving board.
I gotta love it though - somebody still speaks for the relief.

I'm rappin' to the knife,
And I'm gonna move your fife.

Smelly, scrummy, lifeless, like a head
Boy, I tell you, I thought you were a spread.

I can't take the diving board, can't take the stick.
I woulda tried to hit I guess I got no quick.

I'm rappin' to the fife,
And I'm gonna move your knife.

Yea, yaz, in a delaware state of mind.

When I was young my instructor had a leaf.
I waz kicked out without no motif.
I never thought I'd see that relief.
Ain't a soul alive that could take my instructor's chief.

A cool razor is quite the fundraiser.

Thinking of danger. Yaz, thinking of danger (danger).

LYRICS # 2

A Pool State of Mind (The Diss Hip Hop)
By rocky
A Rap

Yeah, yeah
Ayo, Corn Pop, it's time.
It's time, Corn Pop (aight, Corn Pop, begin).
Straight out the scrummy dungeons of rap.

The chain drops deep as does my bussing.
I never spin, 'cause to spin is the brother of gissing.
Beyond the walls of caps, life is defined.
I think of danger when I'm in a Pool state of mind.

Hope the domain got some disdain.
My train don't like no dirty strain.
Run up to the plane and get the vein.

In a Pool state of mind.
What more could you ask for? The beef chain?
You complain about diving board.
I gotta love it though - somebody still speaks for the disdain.

I'm rappin' to the diss,
And I'm gonna move your kiss.

62, razor, straight, like a baller
Boy, I tell you, I thought you were a squalor.

I can't take the diving board, can't take the cheddar.
I woulda tried to hit I guess I got no spreader.

I'm rappin' to the kiss,
And I'm gonna move your diss.

Yea, yaz, in a Pool state of mind.

When I was young my brother had a holler.
I waz kicked out without no squalor.
I never thought I'd see that scholar.
Ain't a soul alive that could take my brother's collar.

A cool ratchet is quite the claw hatchet.

Thinking of danger. Yaz, thinking of danger (danger).

LYRICS#3

A Corn Pop At Da Pool State of Mind (The Knife Hip Hop)
By Rocky
A Rap

Yeah, yeah
Ayo, Corn Pop, it's time.
It's time, Corn Pop (aight, Corn Pop, begin).
Straight out the crazy dungeons of rap.

The fox drops deep as does my mouse.
I never spin, 'cause to spin is the brother of spouse.
Beyond the walls of boys, life is defined.
I think of danger when I'm in a Corn Pop at Da Pool state of mind.

Hope the trailblazer got some laser.
My raiser don't like no dirty blazer.
Run up to the fundraiser and get the taser.

In a Corn Pop at Da Pool state of mind.
What more could you ask for? The drag you off fox?
You complain about diving board.
I gotta love it though - somebody still speaks for the box.

I'm rappin' to the knife,
And I'm gonna move your saif.

Swimming cap, attitude adjustment, straight, like a razor
Boy, I tell you, I thought you were a laser.

I can't take the diving board, can't take the cheddar.
I woulda tried to hit I guess I got no spreader.

I'm rappin' to the saif,
And I'm gonna move your knife.

Yea, yaz, in a Corn Pop at Da Pool state of mind.

When I was young my brother had a tedder.
I waz kicked out without no spreader.
I never thought I'd see that header.
Ain't a soul alive that could take my brother's wedder.

A poor beef is quite the chief.

Thinking of danger. Yaz, thinking of danger (danger).

do understand that as the self labelled 800LB gorilla when I raise the issue and have an opinion, it is not entirely uninformed and not personally directed at "Marty is wrong" but at the 800 LB gorilla
My lens is as a Canadian whose geography, history, culture and experiences and viewpoints are not yours. We have values and opinions based on our shared history as Canadians.

03
You have actually been challenging JAPOV on the Bible and the existance of what I see as the One Shared God of Abraham....asking for proof of JAPOV's beliefs.... and those of Couch and Everett and others.

04
You are a self declared atheist if I understand this correctly. I mentioned Lucretius. Is his life occupying space in your head?

01A
I appreciate that John. Up until I was about 40, I wanted nothing to do with guns. Had no desire to deal with them, have them on my person or talk about them. I'm still uneasy around "gun nutz." Something is mis-wired in the breed. Some work related issues (homebuilding) changed that. At first I got into martial arts. After 6 years of that it wasn't protection enough in an increasingly violent city and I decided that guns for protection was a rational choice. I now have several as the technology has evolved to the the threat.

02A
I know you are Canadian. I am not. I know nothing about your country and have no desire to tell anyone up there how to run it. I'm touchy when I see foreign nationals deciding what is best for me and mine. Can't help it.

03A
I was born and raised on Birmingham, Alabama. I have been non-religious since birth and agnostic since college. I have had more Christians run at me as a project that I can recall. Including my first wife 40+ years ago. I know full well that there is no secular proof of Christian faith beyond an appeal to the bible itself which has an odd evolution if you look into it. I ask questions not because I expect to receive proof, but because it helps me understand the world better to see what is presented as the personal foundation for someone's faith. The most clarity that I have seen here is Steve. Paraphrasing him...he does it because he does it. He offers neither iron clad proof or an apology for not offering iron clad proof. He leads with a soft edge which makes him easy to be next to and inclines me to be sympathetic and respectful to his life-view. For me, Steve was the gem to be found in the "general discussion" section regarding the Christian faith. Being a convert is not in my future. BUT IF, that ever changed, I would go to Steve for guidance.

04A
Full disclosure. I've seen Lucretius name beginning with a classics course at UT, 1000 years ago, but I dont know anything about him. I am not atheist. I am agnostic. I don't suggest any notion whatsoever as to what exists beyond what is known about this life. I PERSONALLY, regard that as presumptive for a mortal. I regard that deciding that there is absolutely no God as even more presumptive for an earthling. I, as an agnostic simply dunno. I hope to find out but am fully accepting that I may die and just be over and done.....never finding out what lays beyond. Even so, I will be very grateful for the priviledge to have been alive and self aware for the time given me...by whatever.

And there you have everything that I know. Enjoyable discussion. Thank you.

Ah Marty...I have learned more about you in this recent run....and can see your POV much better...

Thank you ...I better understand why you would consider our discussions as meddling......even as touching nerves like that was not an intent....

We do share the same frustrations when there is yet another mass shooting....and Canada is not immune and does not feel somehow "holier than thou"

BTW Lucretius wrote a poem describing the universe in physical terms, urging people to be unafraid of the natural world and impending death....all part of the cycle of life.
I am a Humanist by "inclination and interest" , an optimistic agnostic by "temperment", and believe one should make a positive impact on their family, community and as big as you can elsewhere...leaving a better world when you leave it. Like you, I am grateful for our gift of sentience, awareness....we live in an amazing universe that is full of questions that beg for answers....and we follow where they lead

Off course we can also be no choice among stinking fish as they say....we are complicated.

Amen to that John. wink
Our commonality is much broader than I realized. Thank you for such a thoughtful post.

Absolutely true Tony...hyphens are entirely appropriate as there are geeks as gamers and Best Buy's Geek Squaders, and those not focused on the BIG REALITY Q's but on questions like what's wrong with your computer or electric kettle?

Am I to assume that the alien JAPOV here
https://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1178097/2.html
is studying this yourself?

Or are you being clever and want us to waste time following that link down a many pages and layers deep site with a side trip or two chasing an understanding of something we will never have like I did?

Lol... John,
As long as you understand that the concept is 30yrs old, and some are already pushing for "consumer ready" models of the technology within 5yrs, then you should realize that AI is truly just around the corner smile

A smart investor would probably jump on this. And, perhaps, RFID tech...

A little side note about gun control...

If we get rid of nukes and guns, then we can go back to waging war "up close a personal". Swords and spears... sounds good to me!

Lol...
Try to see it from a soldier's perspective. It's more of a deterrent really. Which would you rather... shoot the enemy, or gut him like a fish?

Waging war would probably be much harder if we intimately "re-connected" with the pain and death we cause. Not to mention recruitment lol... So, I suppose, in a way... gun control could be a good thing!

The story goes, Cain killed his brother Abel with a rock...
Cain and Abel, Noah and the flood, the tower of Babel; These are historical examples of how man's sinful nature never changes. History repeats, and we are currently making all the same mistakes from our past.

That is, unless, you don't believe in the historical accuracy of the Bible...

I like that.

Ancient philosophy appeals to the intellect... but, the Bible has proven itself to me. I guess that makes me a masochist wink

It didn't take scammers long to use A I to scam people. People in my home province have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars from mostly grandparents, with the voice of their grandchild asking for money to get them out of some trouble, but of course it is not their grandchild but a scammer using A I to mimic their voice. Scammers are the lowest of the low, cowards hiding behind a phone, hitting the easiest targets they can find.

Tighten your seatbelt Everett.
We are at the very beginning of all that. I worry that the time is soon coming that you wont be able to believe anything on your computer screen. Life will devolve into a propaganda war where completely convincing photos, sound recordings and videos are argued over regarding their authenticity.

We will see some guy in NYC standing on the sidewalk in a $5000 suit...and then

He will tear his clothes off
Sprout horns from his head
His skin will turn scaly and indigo.
He will have a giant wang with a viper's head head on the end of it, lurching about and spitting venom.(no tail)

Anderson Cooper will rush towards him with a film crew, but he will move away and scale the Chrysler Building and once at the top, proclaim himself to be the antiChrist in a large booming voice that can be heard ocean to ocean.

And Tony will insist...."there is the proof for all the damned to see."
To which I will respond..."Tony, are you certain that's real?" wink

Ah yes Tony...more powerful computers and sensors and RFID...backbone of manufacturing 2.0......RFID tags on every part that comes in allows computers to track and direct activity

Was at 2014 iKnow (European knowledge management ) Conference in Graz Austria specifically to meet an American keynote there, Etiene Wenger, to run some thing by him .....

While there I had a great pick of seminars...Man 2.0 was one of them

Here Europe (Germany, Austria mostly) were way ahead of us ....Siemens and such have been actively pursuing the creation of factories where the old joke about the man and the dog are true
(factory of the future will have tech, one man, and one dog. Man is there to feed the dog, the dog is there to keep the man away from the tech)

Progress is inescapable as long as we pursue it.

As is the human imgination ...RFID chips in everyone via covid vaccine...duhhh

Everett that scam was active way before AI....and it relies on confusion, the law of large numbers, and big hearted grandparents who lose eveything after grandkid in trouble with the police.

I doubt any scammer would invest in AI....nor can AI instanly mimic the voices of grandkids...simply has no base data

Perfect...
Now imagine Anderson Cooper showing up with a CNN film crew.

I said Indigo. He was more scarlet. And there is one other detail that may have been concealed.
Nonetheless, perfect.

But Tony, are you certain that is real?

Dig a little deeper Everett...
AI, controlled by the antichrist and leading a one world government, will "intellectually" replace God. Many will willingly embrace that...

"Tower of Babel" ringing any bells?

Tony
You fervents light up like a Roman candle whenever a prospect for the antiChrist comes along. Can you imagine how much fun you would have had in the 1930s? Even I might have wondered a little bit at that time.

I listened to Glen Beck this morning. He's my bell cow for the media representation of the "religious right." He was foaming at the mouth about AI. It is a matter of concern, but Glen and crew have no answers...just hysteria.

Onward thru the fog.
