At this moment, I havent listened to the song, just read the lyrics.
FWIW 2U....I think that your lyrics are very well written.

You know I always like your lyrics. Even though the feelings expressed often bounce off me they're powerfully enough expressed to make a dent LOL. This one's no exception. Really tightly written. The sound is great too. I love the drum heartbeat at the end.
The melody seems to be a bit of an afterthought and less inspired than the lyric and production.

Like the liveliness of the percussion and you have a message wrapped in a working melody.
