Hey everyone, been kinda busy the last week and a half. Working on some new songs and a video to go with a story song I wrote. Sharing this one I wrote a while ago. Another really great song, here, Marilyn. Really good vocals, loving the harmony. The melody flow is so cool. Has a Shania Twain feel to it. Kudos.

Yep, great beat and great sounding vox! Singing is a bit rushed in places though... With that harmony she could have held "Spitfiiiiiiiire" for four beats..... then "and Whiskey" with attitude! Just sayin'

I can hear what Tony is talking about...at least for the spitfire part...that could build nicely to a "release" on whiskey... Totally insignificant point though because it works very nicely as is ....better ears above agree
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

Thank you everyone. Yeah, this one was on hold for an indie artist, her and her producer loved the song. Then she went w/ different management, and put out 2 other songs. But her career didn't take off. I haven't followed her for awhile, but I believe she's currently working on writing/cowriting her own songs now.
