Oh, how I want to be there today..
Relax © 2015 Cindy Prince
Lying on a lounger On the edge of heaven Sipping on your favorite drink
Gentle waves wash up Soothing your battered senses It’s so good not having to think
No headlines to worry about No calls to return Nothing but drifting away
Picture this in your mind Bring it to life Why not start it today
Chorus Relax…… Breathe in deep Let all the stresses disappear Relax…. Drift off to sleep It’s time to let go of the fear Relax…..
You aren’t your job You aren’t your house You really are incredibly pure
So go ahead and relax There’s no better medicine Sometimes it’s the ultimate cure
Repeat chorus

Sounds like a good idea! I wish I could quit thinking. Or at least not think as much.

Hi Cindy! Now that the weather is decent here (finally!) this is just what we need to soothe any stress of the day! I especially like how you start it off..."lying on a longer, on the edge of heaven". I've never heard heaven used like that...good image! And the bridge takes us inward after letting everything out so it's a nice contrast. Ahhhhhh.... Kristi
A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be. -- Abraham Maslow, American Psychologist

"The standard by which I now measure the things in my life is the following: If I was on my death bed, or if I knew I had a short time to live, would this issue be important? If the answer is no.. I don't sweat it at all. If the answer is Yes, you better believe it goes to the front of the order of today's business!" -Brian Austin Whitney
