A good listen. Interesting lyric, filled with interesting imagery.

Civil war history is real interesting, I started reading and relearnin' what I was or wasn't taught in school, and really got into it.
I can't say how much I appreciate Vic, and how he turned words into a song!

Ya it was an interesting period, while reading about it, a lot I didn't learn in school went on for sure.
I agree, Vic gave this such and authentic sound that it does have that "feel".

This reads like a mini-novel, and with that gritty western vocal delivery of Vic's, it couldn't have been voiced better. The lyrics put me in mind of a friend of mine, Dave Carter.......though a little more conversational than something he'd have done, it still speaks similarly.
