Well, not exactly a success story yet.  But still quite a buzz just now to get an email from TAXI saying that two songs of mine had been forwarded - and of all things - for a heavy metal film/documentary.  (Keeping my fingers crossed. These same two songs were forwarded several months ago for another project, but I've not heard anything since.) Donna

Well, I hope you're keeping a notebook on forwards in case something shows up later and you remember what went down. Getting forward means you met the bar and guidelines of what they wanted, but not necessarily THE one they wanted. They might get 7 or 70 songs depending on their desires and where they set the bar. Sometimes nothing gets forwards, sometimes lots do. But knowing you "get" the jist of the listings is a big first step. It means you're competing at least. You just may not win the tourney on your first go or your 40th. But if you keep successfully meeting the needs, eventually you'll break through out of sheer likelihood.
