A reviewer (who I respect a lot) at another site sent me this (ha, ha): .. about the Collison Course song and the harmony. At first it was so out of rhythm I thought I had two windows opened at the same time, and they were out of sync with each other (not the case).
I've heard lot's of songs with same rhythm harmony, and songs with echoeing type harmony but they are in rhythm.
The competing version you are talking about sounded terribly out of snyc to me. I don't think it worked at all. Because it was so annoying I found myself being pulled away from the lyrics in the song and focusing on how out of rhythm the harmony was. Sorry!!! I understand what he meant - I was wondering if anyone here though the same thing? I sort of like the looseness in this one, but I did try and make it a little better (without re-recording) by just nudging some parts hither and yon! *********************************************************** GocartMoz: BIAB = Band In A Box. You select the tempo and key and then type the chords in. You can then pick a style/instruments and BIAB will do its best to build a good accompaniment -- it works pretty well. Thanks for stopping on by. Michael: Forum is here: http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?lang=english Lisa: Thanks for that! Ha, ha -- not every one agrees. I did tighten it up today -- but only slightly. Thanks for the kind words and the listen. Dan: A second visit! Thanks a lot, it is always appreciated. Nelson: Hey, I haven't seen you around lately, glad to have you back. I did tweak the timing -- but not too much to lose the vibe (I hope). Thanks for the visit and the super kind words. I'll get back for the others a little later.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
