I like to read about music theory and other topics related to music and the music business. Particularly, over the last year or so, I have read quite a few books that have given me insight and/or ideas that (I think) have improved my craft or resulted in some great music.

The other day, I had the thought that I ought to write some 'reviews' for of those books and post them here at JPF so that other people can get an idea of whether or not a book I've read might help them out as well. In addition, others could post their thoughts, too, and then potential discussion could assist others of in finding reading material that could help them grow musically, too.

The dreamer in my realized that it could even go so far enough to require its own forum--a virtual database of titles that each of us could use to make the most of our music-related education.

Anyway, before I post any kind of review, I was wondering if anyone else would find something like this a valuable tool or if anyone had any ideas that could make this one better.

Thanks.
