Ahh cocaine blues! What I love about that tune is that everyone did it their own way. Guthrie did it different than Cash, who did it it different than Townes, and I think the Old Crow Medicine Show even took a shot at it more recently.
It would be great if some of the regulars who've shared their tales could share some original tunes as well! They don't have to be first person tunes, a lot of people write about the beauty or horror that they see in others. Since I'm new here, and that conversation is fresh in mind, thought it would be good to start with. Looking forward to hearing some more input, and hopefully some songs will start to show as well.
