I really like the verses very strong images. The chorus isn't as strong as the verses which would make this special. The chorus needs to be huge imo. Good Job, arealrush Yes, I think what Lisa has done with the verse is brilliant. I plan to post the music after Christmas. When you hear it, I think the chorus will pack a bit more punch than it does now. I want to thank the rest of you for your comments, too. I finally saw the second two X-men movies this summer and Rogue's character really made an impression on me. Even if you aren't into superhero movies, I recommend this one; the characters are well-developed and easy to sympathize with in spite of their obviously fictional natures. For me, it was especially easy to relate to Rogue. I love how Lisa ties the images from Greek mythology to those from the X-men trilogy, too. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I think sometimes we each get lonely and/or wish we were someone else. I think Lisa has conveyed that well through her lyric.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
