On some of the other boards, dedicated to audio gear and
methods, a new mic maker has been getting some raves for
their Stellar CM-6 tube mics.
Google for:
Stellar mic CM-
and you'll get lot's of links to check out.
Stellar Sound upgrades mics, made in China, to a quite
respectable performance level, at a comparatively low
price.
However, their output rate is somewhat low, so you
have to jump when stock becomes available.
They sell their mics on E-Bay, and they go quickly!
