Folks I'd really like to be able to play and sing this song but so far I am having problems figuring it out.

I have a Tab for it. I am not sure if it is correct though.
The Tab I have is in standard tuning and shows this chord sequence for the first verse.

F Em7 A7 Dm Bb C7 F C Dm7 G7 Bb F

I have watched the videos of Paul McCartney playing this song and this Tab does not seem correct.
I am not sure but one video it looks like he is Capo'd at the first fret. Not real sure though It's hard to see.

I have found another tab that shows the song in "D" tuning. I have never played anything in "D" tuning but I'll give it a try.
The D tuning tab also shows the same chord sequence but the fingering is different.

I don't understand the need for tuning all the strings on the guitar down a step.
I understand drop D where only the Low E is tuned down. For fuller Bass.
