HI Tim!
Most, if not really most musicians in your area won't be reading your plea.
You may need to communicate in person, one at a time, as to letting them know there is a JPF. Most musicians anywhere will not be reading anything on these boards, for as Brian points out, this is but one small entity of JPF. Even for members, a lot of the action takes place behind the board scenes.
So, this is your chance to start something good in your area, since you are very interested in getting more members to the JPF table. That can be in chapter meetings, playing out at one place once a month, or whatever.
Round up the ones you have heard and let them know there is a JPF. Then, the boards can be a easy place for exchanging info for everyone there. Happy hunting!
