All that being said, if your NOT the artist, not young and beautiful with contacts who connect with you the minute there eyes gaze upon you. If you don't play so frigging great that people just drop dead at the sound of you lol.
But instead you are the opposite of all that and all your doing is writing some words on a piece of paper or combining those words with some simple music. Then you want to sell it, because that's how you want to earn a living.
What do you do? Who is making the music that sells in order for you to have that happen?

We all know that answer, so it's more or less case closed. No matter how we pound or jump up and down.

Let me know when the industry takes only what you or I feel is the best qualified or even cares. Until then I can't see any reason to question ANY writers path or guidelines to achieving a nearly impossible goal, a goal so impossible that even if lets assume everything in it completely sucks and you still can't get anywhere at all.
So if a lets say a "sucker" lol gets through and tries to tell somebody else the way they did it, whats wrong with that? It's just information take it or leave it.

You can build the biggest building in the world with your hands all by yourself and it took you 80 years.. You are AWESOME
or somebody rich can walk in and BUY it in one day now they own the biggest building in the world. People think that person is awesome too.
Yeah but the guy who built it had nothing, had to do this and he did that and he suffered and on & on... Yeah I LOVE him too. Either way he had the building.

The guy who bought it without lifting a finger....
Now he's gonna tell the people how he went about buying it, without lifting a finger. Same building.
What's his story?

There are different ways to achieve the same goal. How you feel about it and what you can or can't live with, is all up to you.
