Thanks Polly, Roger, Ben, Herbie & Stan. I appreciate your comments and taking time to listen. I am not surprised Ben that you do not remember Strong City. It is a little town of about 600 located in the Flint Hills. Beautiful cattle country though.
We just layed down tracks last week on a new demo at Bayou Studio and we are all very excited about this new song's possibilities. The song is called ORDINARY DAY and if any of you would like to hear the rough mix I would be glad to post a link here. I am 57 years old and have been writing since I was a teenager. It has always been a passion and a dream that has gotten me through many rough patches, but of course you all know how that is. It gets in your blood and becomes a part of you.
Thanks again everyone, and best of luck to you all.
Marvin

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
